Having been through, and going through life's problems, this song is a positive, uplifting rallying cry to think more positive, and power through the mud.
The only part I ever had any issue with not knowing the lyrics to has always been the part where they say "Just take your best shot and don't blow it", which is why I after a lifetime of enjoying Styx, decided to finally see what was sung here. Never realized I also never heard and thus sung the lyrics wrong with "you're the one they can't beat" either, so this video helped me discover that. How I've always heard those parts: "You're the one that can be and you know it so come on, just take up a shot and go all the way" (I actually have always heard the last part as go nowhere, however, that wouldn't make any sense, thus why I replaced it with go all the way, which fits with the woah ohh ohhhh ohhh" portion that follows.
I first take out the booklet from the CD case then I write down the lyrics, it tales me a while to have the LYRICS in synch with the song. I listen to the song as many times as necessary, make the appropriate changes. If there’s something I can’t understand I start looking for the right lyrics everywhere and when I last I think I got it right I upload the video. I’m happy to see that all this work doesn’t go down the drain.
The years when real musicians play real instruments and singers could really sing not like the stinking crap they called music and singers this days!🤮🤮🤧
