I really like the art style. Even if it's premade renderings, I think it shows the direction they want to go in and it looks amazing. It's that kind of artificial look that is just real enough to make you forget it isn't even photorealistic. But all that turned up in quality and more beautiful without going fully realistic. The photo with that bridge where you see the trees in the background or the one with the church and the moose corpse. I could imagine them to crank up the painterly style even more in the distance and when you get closer it becomes more realistic or something. And the atmosphere of the aurora shots is also amazing, especially combined with the power plant. All in all amazing and surprising news!
"Build your own survivor" sounds like a class system or skill specialization. That sounds right for a co-op game. Solid acting chops at the beginning of this video, btw. 😂 Sad there wasn't a spit-take written into the script.
I might get early access for the first time. Anyway, I appreciate your perspective. I expect there will be theorizing videos and such in the next few days, but I don't think anything except the location and the nuclear plant is secured into the game just yet.
I feel like if your playing with friends and you die and need to find them again you could have signal fires or and aurora 2 way radios. You could even yell in game, at the risk to attracting unwanted attention.
Hmm... I guess I'ma have to find some friends. At 50 years old and on the autistic spectrum this will be a real challenge for me. Game looks amazing though! I think I really, really don't like the thought of fighting other survivors, but I guess I can't say until I try it. Edit: After thinking what I want most it's to be able to jump and climb things.
@@koruandthistle I think we can solo it also. But if the game has multi-player then there should most likely be some things we can only experience in multi-player. I don't want to miss any part of it.
‘I had an emotional reaction to a can of peaches’
Honestly that perfectly sums it up for us TLD fans.. 🙂
I figured the pile of TV's was just Dunn being silly.
What great early Christmas gift from Hinterland...

exciting stuff. given the trees and liquid water, i’m wondering if were a tad further south and on the mainland.

The camera is easier to get than you think. The path is almost predator free within that map.
I'm at CH The path to SP is so long, I'm afraid I get lost coming back, I wish it would spawn in places like the woodworking tools

I’m hoping my wife will play with me. In the meantime, I need to convince her to buy a second console.
@@j.s.c.4355 well luckily you have at least a year!
