In the 2011 season, this video will be shown in the the stadium to introduce LSU's Golden Band from Tigerland immediately before they march onto the field for the highly anticipated Pre-Game.
There is no finer band...just as amazing now as it was when I first stepped onto the field in Tiger Stadium nearly 50 years ago. What an awesome tradition!!!
Great video-brings me back to the countless games I went to while at LSU-the anticipation hearing the drum beat as the band enters the stadium-the bom bom bom BOM! of the horns in the end zone before the band pours on the field before the start of the game...goose bumps!
@classickruzer1 Mike VI is only in the trailer for his stadium lap. He spends the rest of his time in a 15,000 square-foot tiger paradise funded by donations. Also, Mike VI has never lived in the wild. LSU does not take tigers out of their natural habitat. All our mascots are rescues or they come from large animal sanctuaries. No tiger in captivity has it as good as Mike VI.
