I normally do these things myself, BUT the Flex's are known to have catastrophic water pump failure so I want to get it done right. The dealer also adds a flushing chemical to remove any debris that may be trapped in the system, and will ensure that 100% of the old coolant is evacuated. I am a serious DIYer on literally everything else including engine swaps, & typically avoid "professional" mechanics like the plague, but I do not have the proper coolant system flushing equipment to do a project like this. I will 100% flush my old Wagoneer out with a water hose, but not a system as complex as what's in the Ecoboost Flex with rear air.
What service manual are you using? I am having trouble locating one like the one you displayed. I also have a 2010 Ford Flex. Can you let me know which service manual you were sharing in your video, and perhaps a picture of the front and back, along with a mfg name to buy one? It would be much appreciated, and thank you for the video, very helpful.

It's the ford shop manual.
I purchased from ebay years ago.
I think now most manuals are all digital.
So Ford techs say the newest yelllow is compatible with seciality green?
Not sure
Yes the CV3 is replaced with the new yellow coolant that is actually green in color.
Mastercraft CV13 can be added to the old orange with no issues
@@ryanlash1708 to the old orange yes but not the dark green
How the flex after you did the flush?
How long are your fingernails now?
Petcock. Not peacock. Ha.
