Do you think the white material keeps the occupants cooler in the hotter summer months or is there no noticeable difference? I'm considering a white version over the green or brown because of the company's statement that it does better at keeping the tent cool in hotter weather and am looking for an opinion of someone who has the tent.
To be honest, do not buy this tent. It is not durable at all. The material will tear very easily. To answer your question, the white tent definitely stays cooler. Just so you know, I am a person who takes very good care of my gear and yet this tent didn’t hold up well. I am currently having the Tschum tent from Germany and the quality of the cotton is very good. Only con is that it is heavier but a lot safer if you use a wood stove in your tent. Stay away from this Megahorn tent. Take care.

Thank you for subscribing to my channel and welcome of course. Currently only have this Winnerwell Woodlander medium sized wood stove. Of course the Winnerwell Nomad version does has it positive features too. If you were to get their water tank, it can be hang by the side of the stove. The Woodlander version does not allow this. Lastly head over to Winnerwell as they have some newer version. It is the Winnerwell Nomad View. Very nice as it has a large viewing window for the fire. Sure be prepared to do more maintenance on it too. Have a great day.

I just retired my 8-man Kifaru tipi after 20yrs. I spent about 1,000 nights in it with kids and dogs. Is the material and sewing quality of this teepee that good? Do you expect 10-15-20yrs use? @uwanitbad
20 yrs? Depending on how often you will use and how you are with handling your gears. One very important thing you need to know is that this is not made from ripstop fabric. For me, getting 3-5 yrs is very reasonable as I am a guy who is very careful with my gears. Lastly, in my opinion, you may get less mileage with kids and dogs. I hope I help you there mate. I thought I was going to cough and laugh my self till I passed out when I saw carbon monoxide detector in a tent outside inn a campground it must’ve been in California... the ground tarp was a joke And what did the temperature get down to that night 50 but we needed a G stove this video was a commercial nothing about survival
