Farming is the first widely used technology behind growth of human civilization which is still in businees and will remains so do farmers. I really find it useful, very insightfull analysis of the issues faced by farmer and farming in India and explained it very well. Very nicely said "Farmer do try new ways of farming... farmer is a scholars and his fileds is his laboratory " 👏👏👏👍
sir good logical thoughts. Farming currently has problems. Lets demand right things and look for solutions and what should be the right solutions. Come with these solutions. Direct support No free power or water but solar system on farms government provide 90% or more extra power generated goes back to grid and can earn or use power when solar power is less. water use drip irritation, rain water harvesting and other sustainable sources. Diversity is crop and animal husbandry, milk. Start cooperative like Amul. soil health measures and support. organic farming etc. provide loans, direct cash stop this wasteful subsidies that only benefit few. And other such suggestions. Negotiate this is the first time Farms are in such position please don't be stuck on repeal of law as if they repealed then would the problems solve if yes then go-ahead or else use this opportunity to bring desired changes that you think is going to work and make sure is an ongoing changes so if this doesn't work how to change.
Today, govt is a major stakeholder in farming through APMC. Irrespective of the party, they have to consider farmers in each election. Govt wants to get away from their this duty by making the market to regulate the agricultural too. Then govt will not be questioned for any plight of the farmers. Every party would wish to do that. Recall the agitations by the opposition in the past over the petroleum prices increase when govt was regulating the price. Now, no such things are there even prices are exorbitant as these are regulated by the companies. We produce just 179 kg per capita..Food grain..Even behind our neighbouring countries..According to world hunger index.. Solution lies in mass education of poor..They deserve not only grains..Meat milk eggs fruit vegetables too.Govt must focus on increasing the purchasing power of those 80 core..We don't need sensex to be too high..We need healthy n happy people.39 % Kids of Gujarat are under weight or height..23% in Kerala..Rest of States in between..Fix this and then see if India have surplus food or not...A long way to go.
Sir, Punjab me sbse zyda fertilizers ka use hota hai, man liya ki gov bills wapis leti hai, aur kuch salo me jab ground water peene layak nhi bchega toh fir aap kaha jaoge kya kroge? Fir kis gov ko blame kroge aap? Mana ki MSP bas wheat aur paddy pe shi se mil rhi hai, par jo ground water ka ho rha hai itne fertilizers ke usage se, iska kya kroge aap? Waise bhi kehte ho aaplog ki loans bhot hai punjab ke farmers ke upar, toh fir status quo kyu chahiye aapko? Jab waise bhi suffer krhe ho aap, toh let these reforms come, waise bhi to loss hai, to kuch time ke liye check kro na reforms ko. Fir 6months ke baad krlete protest. Bccha paida hua nhi aur bccha bigad gya prove krrhe hain log.
Watch my other video for more clarity on the subjects. The solution is very simple, as suggested in this video too. Farmers are in this business for generations, they understand the ground realities. Nobody opts for a low income for the sake of anything. Even farmers themselves say new laws would benefit for 2-3 years. Check my video of corporate farming to know the reasons why things work well for 3 years.
So at which point farming what rice becomes infeasible? pumping water is becoming difficult with each passing year and scientists are not saying that if things continue as they are then soon Punjab will turn into desert. Is that not a diminishing return to a short term profit? Just because its easy to harvest wheat rice doesn't mean its right. Regarding the GST, central government has already exempted farm produce from any tax, whether it happens inside mandi (state tax exemption) or outside (centre govt tax - GST) then why are you still concern about it? Do you not understand the law or just spreading misinformation? I appreciate your approach to this matter but the whole point of involving private sector is to get out of this rut of lack of innovation and if farmers could do it on their own without any investment from private sector then they would've done it by now.
My video talks about the reasons for wheat-rice cycle and probable solution, It does not talk about the New laws. See my another video to understand the experiences of the farmers. Whatever the problem is, farmers can not be motivated to move to another crop if they get lower prices. Everyone wants to improve their income, so do farmers.
Very Nice👍🙏
Well Done bhaji....Proud of you...

Priorities are misplaced..
These laws doesn't stop you to producing wheat or rice.
I have no reference to the laws in this video, it is to understand the perspective of the farmers for growing more wheat and rice
