This is the most wonderful technical lesson in my life! This is so cool live modular techno! Anyone who can, even in developing countries, experience such a cool open source! Thank you
Wow Omri! This is amazing! Maybe at some point I'll buy the vcv drums. Using drum modules as voices is quite amazing. You're definitely the best teacher out there! Thanks!
I appreciate it, thank you! If you're into drums, I would definitely recommend them. There are amazing free alternatives as well, like the Trummors, for example. By the way, VCV Drums were also made by Vult :)
This came together great - very nice! Really like the idea of adding extra drive to the output - a while ago I added Tuube after the mixer in my (ever-growing) default patch for a touch of that hardware modular hot-signal sound.
Such a great video. Modulating parameters at audio rate is a great way to experiment with the limits of modules. Not all parameters will behave "correctly" when modulated at audio rate, but you will get some gnarly sounds for sure :)
seeing that tom change into a bass was genuinely incredible, I have no idea how I haven't realized I could do stuff like this already
Glad you enjoyed it
I love everything about this patch. Triggering the drums at audio rate had my brain melting. Genius!
Thanks so much!
Well Omri, you’ve just given me enough of a reason to finally purchase the VCV Drums collection. This is amazing, cheers!
Have fun!
It’s interesting that in VSV rack you can use samplers and other free drams that will help everyone learn! This is very cool!
Omri is making a history of teaching and inspiring!)))
What a masterclass in sound design! 👏👏👏
Hey, thanks!

Masterclass! So much awesome in one video. Omri, I'm gonna start referring to you as ModSynthYoda,
Thanks so much :)

Thanks! Yeah, I also really enjoy adding some crunch to everything :) I used to have the Elektron Analog Heat for this. It worked quite nicely.
Your Video are Always so inspiring Omri ! Loved the Idea of triggering the Tom at audio rate to Turn it to a bass ❤
Glad you liked it!!

Some very nice LPG-sounding tones with the rimshot/cymbal voice there!
Glad you like it!
Thank you Omri, another banger tutorial 👊🏻👍🏻
Cheers!
That is really good. Top quality content
Thanks so much!
I’d love to see something like this maybe using Pam’s new workout now that alm modules are in. This is a great video as always can’t wait to try this!
I'll see what I can do :) Cheers!
So far, I only randomly clicked in the timeline and this VCV-Tom chain is brilliant!
Audio rate drums is so much fun!
thanks for the experience!
Cheers!

So so cool, and really well explained😁
Glad it was helpful!
So sick

Cheers
Haha i too did purchase the drum collection after this. Also, watching this video has already caused my computer to overheat from over-processing lol
Have fun :)
Oh yeah!❤
Cheers!
maestro
Greetings.
Venus Theory told me to come here.
So, here I am!
Mark
Cheers!
It never occurred to me that you could put negative modulation in one input and positive with another signal into the Surge modules. Nice idea.
Yeah, the modulation matrix is very useful in this collection. There's even a whole module dedicated just for this type of mixing modulation.
Omri what is the name of the module from MindMeld with three buttons to start channels and four knobs? I didn't find them in the vcv rack library!
I'm not so sure... is it in this video? Can you point me to the time I use it?

@@angrytoken oh, ok, that's patch master. You can build your own interface with it
@@OmriCohen-Music Very interesting, is there a video on this topic on your channel?

Nice🙌🙌🙌

yes, please do a video on using groups. It's not very well documented in the Mixer's documentation. Thank you.
I'll see what I can do :)
