Nadia is pointing out all the things she didn’t like, but she must understand that dramas are not made only to show perfect characters and can’t always project ideal scenarios, it’s a story, situation that can be possible, anything is possible in this world so don’t judge it by saying that it’s giving a wrong perception or wrong message…not every drama is supposed to give you a good or positive lesson…I am also not really liking it but we must understand that it’s entertainment, it’s a drama after all

A writer creates a world and everyone is thr is bring a writers vision to light and to assume that problematic writers like khalil don't push forward thr sexual deviance and sick mindset in thr writing is really really naive. Wahaj isn’t responsible for all characters actions, ask writer. Firstly this show runs because of dramas. Creators and actors actually doesn’t watch these shows, only some fraction of viewers does, frankly many times these people also rate wrongly being biased. If actors listen everything they will get mad. 😅 If she went by that way then why did she gave points to Maya , she also then opted to do such scene. Whereas Wahaj has actually less onus here as his character isn’t telling such thing. Why should he take care of all characters actions. Praised acting and gave less points to him. If she was fare at least as per her thinking then she would have done same for both. Reason is blame someone more famous to get recognised. And one point doing role of alcoholic man isn’t wrong and also here it’s shown in bad light only, how it damages someone’s image. Main point is here the rating is for acting then it’s wrong ethically to be biased as per their thinking.
And I don’t think Wahaj did wrong opting it as he is playing different role which is good for him. Big Bollywood actors when casted for some high budget movie they do the role and story line will be crap more than this. And in reality most of dramas are not for learning. Learning is mainly by knowledge, lectures and mostly by life experience. Also Human from self knows right and wrong. Most people have sense to filter out good things hence don’t care. Also AFAICS in recent episodes actually dialogues were in favour of women and actually one seemed against men. It’s different kind of drama , an emotional dramatic entertainment. I do stand that , that scene shouldn’t have been like that but apart from that fine. Showing alcoholism in bad light is actually good thing.
I gave up on this drama after 3 episodes. However, I watched the 21 minutes scene and I too felt there was no need for the heroine to give this kind of preposition and I did not like her acting either. It looked so artificial

Cannot agree with Marina. I have seen men & women come off drink overnight with no side effects. Bilal also said when he drank too much he stumbled other times he was fine. Not everyone needs rehab. He was probably reducing it or not drinking. Wahajs performance from alcoholism to sobriety is fantastic. We cannot fault him. He is too good. I’m loving the play & I eagerly wait for the next episode. Too much unnecessary nitpicking Maya & Wahaj are making a very fine screen couple. Three cheers to them
Couldn’t agree with you more, he is doing a fantastic job. It hasn’t been established that he’s a full fledged alcoholic. He came back in town in the first episode and you could tell that he was triggered. It’s safe to say that he overdid it with the drinking. However he was sobered up to interview Ammar proving that he can reduce his drinking to a functional level. Once Mirza Saab’s words stung him, he smashed the bottle . Doesn’t seem like he’s given up drinking but has made the conscious decision to not drink or be drunk in front of others. His performance is being hailed by the TH-cam watching audience. Just check out the comments. His performance is what is keeping everyone hooked.
occasional drinking is different but the character here was surviving more on alcohol than oxygen, such type of addictions can't be abruptly stopped without consequences; they have strong withdrawal symptoms and we see none for this character.

I was also thinking the same like in 5:26 the Turkish drama which Marina is talking about is One Thousand n One Nights where the scene is same to same n its Indian version Katha Ankahee is so nice n I would say one of the best drama produced in the drama industry in terms of story guys have a watch u will never regret
I’m confused at what some of their gripe is about Wahaj’s wardrobe and demeaner. He is a billionaire running a company. He’s supposed to be polished and charming. Just because he was drunk right at the beginning doesn’t mean he has to remain that way. And why would he be in withdrawal if he hasn’t completely quit drinking. He could still be drinking just enough to keep him functional or only late at night. Have they never seen Hollywood movies and shows where the major Wallstreet Finance guys are always shown to not only drink but use hard drugs such as cocaine. Just because I like an actor doesn't mean I will watch or like everything he does. I don't blindly support anyone. Blindly supporting someone won't help them. If there is a mistake, it should be said so that he can be more selective about the scenario from now on.
Wahaj isn’t responsible for all characters actions, ask writer. Firstly this show runs because of dramas. Creators and actors actually doesn’t watch these shows, only some fraction of viewers does, frankly many times these people also rate wrongly being biased. If actors listen everything they will get mad. 😅 If she went by that way then why did she gave points to Maya , she also then opted to do such scene. Whereas Wahaj has actually less onus here as his character isn’t telling such thing. Why should he take care of all characters actions. Praised acting and gave less points to him. If she was fare at least as per her thinking then she would have done same for both. Reason is blame someone more famous to get recognised. And one point doing role of alcoholic man isn’t wrong and also here it’s shown in bad light only, how it damages someone’s image. Main point is here the rating is for acting then it’s wrong ethically to be biased as per their thinking.
And I don’t think Wahaj did wrong opting it as he is playing different role which is good for him. Big Bollywood actors when casted for some high budget movie they do the role and story line will be crap more than this. And in reality most of dramas are not for learning. Learning is mainly by knowledge, lectures and mostly by life experience. Also Human from self knows right and wrong. Most people have sense to filter out good things hence don’t care. Also AFAICS in recent episodes actually dialogues were in favour of women and actually one seemed against men. It’s different kind of drama , an emotional dramatic entertainment. Cannot agree with Marina. I have seen men & women come off drink overnight with no side effects. Bilal also said when he drank too much he stumbled other times he was fine. Not everyone needs rehab. He was probably reducing it or not drinking. Wahajs performance from alcoholism to sobriety is fantastic. We cannot fault him. He is too good. I’m loving the play & I eagerly wait for the next episode. Too much unnecessary nitpicking Maya & Wahaj are making a very fine screen couple. Three cheers to them
Couldn’t agree with you more, he is doing a fantastic job. It hasn’t been established that he’s a full fledged alcoholic. He came back in town in the first episode and you could tell that he was triggered. It’s safe to say that he overdid it with the drinking. However he was sobered up to interview Ammar proving that he can reduce his drinking to a functional level. Once Mirza Saab’s words stung him, he smashed the bottle . Doesn’t seem like he’s given up drinking but has made the conscious decision to not drink or be drunk in front of others.

occasional drinking is different but the character here was surviving more on alcohol than oxygen, such type of addictions can't be abruptly stopped without consequences; they have strong withdrawal symptoms and we see none for this character.

I’m confused at what some of their gripe is about Wahaj’s wardrobe and demeaner. He is a billionaire running a company. He’s supposed to be polished and charming. Just because he was drunk right at the beginning doesn’t mean he has to remain that way. And why would he be in withdrawal if he hasn’t completely quit drinking. He could still be drinking just enough to keep him functional or only late at night. Have they never seen Hollywood movies and shows where the major Wallstreet Finance guys are always shown to not only drink but use hard drugs such as cocaine. They are always polished and never appear high at work. I’m so used to seeing it that I don’t understand the issue. They agree he’s a good actor but taking off points for their odd opinion

Rabia and Hasan Amman never commented on that style as they have sense to understand that. Rabia said only on his walking way which was her own opinion whereas Amna Hassan was telling it was right so everyone has their opinion but didn’t said on his acting. Amna said just on his first look on Maya when she enters that’s just her opinion and Hassan didn’t agree on that and yet she said remaining all his expressions and emotions were best. Kindly watch review correctly first and these people are just behind his style. They don’t have sense that he has gang of people to take care of his look as he is hotel brand head and every one knows how groomed even 5 star hotel staff will be irrespective of what they do and he is the owner and director has visualised in that sense who has more details on role than these and just listen these people also praised him for acting , he is great actor just for that script or styling they didn’t gave and on other hand for maya they gave.
