In this video I will be showing you all of the hostas that I have accumulated over the the last few years!
Hello fellow gardening gals and guys! Welcome to my channel, Serenity Now Garden. My name is Jeanie and I make videos of my gardens, current landscaping projects, plant hauls, serene garden tours, garden ASMR, gardening tips, gardening how to videos and more. I mainly focus on ornamental gardening using perennials, but I also plant bulbs, annuals, cold hardy succulents, shrubs, and trees including some native plants as well. I will be diving into raised bed vegetable gardening, indoor seed starting, and planting a small orchard in the near future too! I live in central Minnesota in USDA gardening zone 4. Join me as I expand my gardens and create new garden designs. My favorite part of gardening is creating garden rooms and secret gardens. Gardening is such a rewarding hobby to have. You can visit my garden blog at www.serenitynowgarden.com. I have been gardening for over 20 years and I still have a lot to learn. Come along for the ride and hopefully we can learn from each other. Thank you and happy gardening!

The HOSTA LIBRARY on line is a good way to check the identity of hosta. Really enjoyed the tour.
Thank you for the tip, I will check it out! And thanks for watching, Mary 😊
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful hostas. Your videos are so well done and relaxing to watch. Thank you!
Thanks, Scott 😊 you're too kind
Lovely garden
Thank you 😊
The hosta tour was fabulous.
Thank you so so much
You have a lovely garden. You are doing a great job. Some yellow
ones that I like are Coast to Coast, Fire Island, and Fire Island.
Thanks so much! I love Coast to Coast and Fire Island too ❤️
That Blue Mouse Ear hosta will grow quite a bit bigger than it is. I have mine on my deck in a round planter and this is it's best year yet!! I've probably had it now going on 5 years. I wish I could share the picture of it with you. Beautiful video! ♥️✌️
Thank you 😊
Wow.. Beautifull
Thank you so much!
Great collection! I just picked up 'Wind Beneath my Wings ' from a local nursery. It's supposed to get 7 ft across. I'm very excited about it. I can't find an Empress Wu, still looking.
Sunshine Glory at 19:20 might have the hosta virus hvx. It seems to have the inking in the leaves. Could you perhaps take a look at it in the summer? Just to check. That virus has become a serious problem for us hosta lovers. I had to toss a couple of hostas that had the virus. The soil is also contaminated after the plant has been removed 😢 Great hosta collection you have! ❤ Those plants are just amazing.
Thanks for the heads up. I will watch for it this spring 🌼
Great video! I dont think you have Francee hostas, the ones you have are Albomarginata. I have a lot of Francee hostas if you want some. You would love Yellow Splash Rim, I have a lot of those too and the flowers are purple. We share the love of hostas😊
Thanks for the info! I have been trying to figure it out for years. Another viewer told me Francee last year, but I do believe the margins and leave shape is a bit different. I gotta check out Yellow splash rim! Thanks 😊
100%Albomarginata
Hostas look great. Dad
Thanks Dad! Looks like hosta fever runs in our blood 😊 love ya!
I have never seen any great hosta's in a Walmart in NC, nice finds. Am getting some good ones now on clearance at Lowe's.
Thank you! I was really surprised with the Walmarts around here this year. Captain Kirk, Paradigm, Dancing Queen. All great hostas. Last year they only had the white and green.
That thumbnail looks like you're wearing a hosta ball gown.
Miss.. you need to edge your lawn, at least 4 inches away from your beautiful plants.
Then remove the grass as a plug, you can use any plugs that you remove to patch or repair any problem areas in you lawn. That will allow you to mow without the use of a trimmer. Then you won't damage you beautiful hostas the why you did...
Lol, yes I am aware of that. If only I had more time!
What is the pale green 4:36 huechera by the dancing queen hosta?
That is a heucherella I believe. I got that on clearance and it was missing a tag, but it looks similar to Gold Zebra.
The Captain Kirk was misidentifief.
The biggest one is Empress wu
You think? A hosta group online told me blue Angel. Maybe it is Empress Wu. The people that lived here before us weren't gardeners so they got most of their plants at the local stores. Empress Wu's weren't easy to find around here years ago, so I assumed it was blue Angel too and it looks very similar to the pictures online.
