I like to buy their dupes before I pull the trigger on the real bottles and so far because of them I have full bottles of Rouge Smoking, Lira and Lost Cherry. They have also kept me from blind buying some major duds too. Super happy about their new solo bottles. I would like to try some of their originals next
Yes! That is what I love clones for too. Sometimes it can help you decide if you want the real thing and they also save you from making expensive mistakes. ❤️
I do think a lot of them have a weird DNA to them. Not all of them but I pick it up in a few even after months of macerating. It's always hit or miss for me. I recently made an order and I think that's my last one. The good ones are good but I always end up with some fails too😩

I have a lot of Duas, but 2 things that annoy me about them, which are to do with the Dua company not being fully transparent/ honest, are: 1. they never publish negative reviews, they only publish good reviews, and 2. they do fake reviews on fragrantica. They have a character who go goes on fragrantica (name is "Jessica," I think) who, when a new dupe comes out at Dua, goes on fragrantica and writes about how this perfume is so good but it's so expensive, has anyone heard of a dupe? and then someone will say Dua has a dupe! and then the fake Jessica character will go on about Dua.... However, I still just bought a full size of the dupe of YSL Babycat, because you can't get Babycat in the USA, so I caved and bought another Dua. It's really good, even without macerating, though you are correct that mots need macerating.

I have so many of thier solos now....my faves atm are vanilla boba milk tea, pomme trempee, butterscotch sauce, Angelic Elixir, coco posiden, Dolce vita and Vanilla cake whiskey. Omg....so good

My first DUA was Belgium Chocolate Cherry and at first spray I said no way, this smells off. I read about putting it aside for a month and talk about transformation! Its wonderful and I am on my last third of the bottle. I couldnt wear the Dark Choco Rum whatsoever - it never did transform into anything good on my skin. I also adore Bitter Peach (tom ford) and Mango Flesh, wow.
So happy for the travel sprays cause I try more fragrances and not have so many big bottles especially since I'm taking a hiatus on big bottles in my collection
I ordered Princess sans Prince and Alexandra Short as well! Also, I have a blueberry pancake perfume which is so delicious :)) maybe Sunday in the autumn and winter Sundays .

I also got the Alexandra Short because of the notes and I like it but not love it. I also ordered Dirty Banana, I am not sure if you have that one but the banana is just at the top and wears off really quick. The next 30 percent off sale, I will try a few more. My favorite from the ones I ordered was the Gone Swimming but once again a like and not a love.
I have about 160 Dua's after selling off a good chunk. After purchasing for about 15 months, I noticed the vanilla in my bottles was going bad. The vanilla-heavy ones smell like chemicals and others just weren't as sweet or smell like something is missing. Not all, but unfortunately my favorite and most loved ones. I'm trying to save some bottles by layering it with a vanilla for it to smell like it did before but I can't do that with the chemical smelling ones though. All were stored the same, in a drawer. It's very strange and unfortunate because I had enjoyed my Duas. You can't tell from the nozzle, you have to spray it. Just sharing so you can be on the look out.
Well, I must chime in on this haul 😆 I also got Dua Therapy, Princeless Princess and Alexandra Short. The first two are for myself and the third one is for my daughter, Sasha aka Alexandra. Loved my solos and will purchase full bottles once I run out, they are so good🥰 They have a hybrid of those two called Princeless Therapy and I almost got it and I heard it’s phenomenal, but I’ll try to layer mine to see what I get first 😉
I love Alexandria Short as well. It's hard not to like DUA, because you're able to have so many options of dupes of really high end fragrances. Many of these fragrances aren't duped anywhere else. Plus, they dupe discontinued fragrances as well. ❤

I ordered two travel sizes off the recent sale (chocolate rum and vanilla, and the miss Dior 2017 dupe). They definitely need time to sit. The two bottles I have from them from before got amazing in time ( a couple months). Hoping these travels do the same cause they were only ok to me.
Hey Sarah! Thank you for the review. I've been wanting to try Princeless Sweetie. I'm on a marshmallow kick. Did you see that the 10 ml sprays are actually filled with 13 mls of perfume? It said it somewhere on DUAs site. Not a bad deal. N if you wait for the 30% off or even the 25% off. Good stuff. I had a terrible experience with that Butterbeer. I ordered it strictly because of the notes. When I opened up the box, all I could smell was oud. And you know I hate oud Lol. And it was a different kind of oud, it was definitely metallic like you said, and it was also like club soda oud. Lol. That's how I would describe it. It was an effervescent oud. And then I got mad because I wrote a review about that on their website and they deleted my review. And it wasn't an entirely negative review either. I don't think that's right to not have full transparency. But if you look now at the reviews on that perfume, there is a review up with somebody else saying that it smells like oud. But that person apparently likes that smell. So I guess that was the difference between my review n theirs...Anyway... I'm still going to try others from DUA because I've bought other great ones like Alienated Essence, BlackBerry Truffle Cake, Tonkamberlicious, Blueberry Brandy. I haven't heard anyone talk about that Butterbeer one though so that was interesting that it was you! Thanks for another great video!!
Hi Jackie! Yes! That metallic note I think is actually some sort of musk and it can come off as smelling like some sort of Oud. I can’t stand it. I’m hoping after some months that will tone down. That sucks that they deleted your review. Thankfully you have TH-cam channels like mine who aren’t beholden to anyone so we can tell the truth. For now anyways. ❤️

I ordered 4 of the duo solos as well and all of mine leaked. I emailed the company and they told me it wasn't the fault of the packer or the shipper because they put those cards in the shipment .They wanted me to send them pictures of the leakage.Of course I just cleaned them up as best I could. I didn't take pictures. And I didn't expect a refund or another replacement And I told them that.... I just emailed them to let them know....They didn't seem very appreciative....I wonder if it's a bottle flaw.
I totally understand. I think they are hand decanted and because I decant so much I know what they are dealing with. It is so hard to hand decant fragrances and not have them leak. I put strong Teflon tape on mine and a lot of the time they still leak. It’s frustrating and such a battle.

It’s used a lot in niche. A lot of Xerjoff fragrances have it. Mettalique from Tom Ford. It’s hard to explain but once you smell it and know you will know. It’s a very strong metallic musk note. Even Donna Born in Roma had it. ❤️
