Welcoming new BABY GOATS...and saying goodbye to our 16-year old dog

- We're enjoying these new fluffy baby goats, but unfortunately, we had our old dog pass away this week.
Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

I’m so sorry for Dora to pass. She seemed so sweet and friendly but at least yall know that y’all gave her the best life she could’ve had! The babies are adorable as well

Im sorry for your loss. lost my dog Fritz on 3-24-21. He was 16. I still cry! He was smartest awesome dog too!

"Cleanliness Hint" to add to your list : never put your lids flat on the counter tops ; take the lids off and as take them off, turn them over so the top is to the top of the counter. Pick them up from underneath when there's a handle or the sides of the lids for the screw-top jars. No touch technique. Good luck.

Oh, the tears!! So sorry for the loss of your sweet dog! We had to put our Rottweiler to sleep last week because she developed cancer in all her organs. It happened so fast that we had a very hard time adjusting....in fact, we are still grieving and will be for awhile! She is sleeping now in our back yard and flowers will mark her resting place, along with a placard. Losing fur babies is SO HARD! Thoughts and hugs are sent your way! 💔❤
