Okay guys- I'm fighting/ fought through the same bullshit as you, and ended up cheating my way above the Nether just as Lewis did. The polytool, as I know it, is used more like a customize-able multi-tool (pick, axe, sword, shovel). Like a paxel but much better. You customize it via stacks of chemicals. Certain chemicals have certain properties. Like- chlorine has an area effect of poison.
On Hell and the Nether Quests- I've no bloody clue. You have to go to the Nether- but then you also have to battle through a spatial storage drive named Hell. Side Note: It's... Horrendous.
Also on the stuff you found outside/ a note on the trophies: You have to stop thinking like this is an adventure map- because it's not. Its open world with achievements. The trophies are literally everywhere on the map, I know- I completed the damn trophy portion.
Besides that guys- just make the map your own- and you might try looking up in the sky sometime- you might just notice an.... irregularity.

There is a netherportal already placed but people fail to read the quest properly and tries making their own which causes this ruckus
Simon Fard TO BE FAIR- The quest guide isn't terribly clear on the matter- not to mention making a portal is way easier than battling through hell.
bailey cohen I would go back and look in a creative world for you- but my computer has decided that now it feels my world should have thousands of entities and run on 0 fps. So- I can't help you. Sorry.
Mindmessed Eh, it's okay. I've been trying to not do anything in creative even if it's in another world, but that failed horribly. After dying a million times in miner's delight and losing all my sweet gear, I rage quit and went into creative to get my stuff. The trick to not making everything disappear is by encasing you and the grave in any block and then going into survival. If you break it in creative nothing will pop out.

If you build a nether portal on the overworld at sky level, you can get to the bedrock surface on the top. It's a bug that occurred when world heights were increased. Nether world height was also increased but terrain generation stayed the same so there was just a big empty space of nothing left behind.
Also i think you can put a 4x4 sapling underneath and grow it with bone meal and it grows through the bedrock and breaks it.

You can easily get through the bedrock layer by growing a tree directly below it, there's a rare chance that leaves will replace the bedrock.
Yeah, but is that still possible? Long time ago i played minecraft.
But I think the nether portal was meant to go above the bedrock...
That would be the more logical way to get there imo...

Also ender pearls can tp you through bedrock layer. I did it about 2 days ago on a survival server.

I was wondering what the place looked like from the outside! And now for another painful wait for them to run into more difficulty at the unfinished wing and so forth in this crazy adventure.
You are allowed to go out, is required go out for some trophies that are hidden outside and some are near the top, just look around

A tip for the computer: you have a lot of charged ME power cells in the computer (or possibly in a chest). If you hook them all up to the ME setup, you won't have to worry about powering it normally for a long time, and can use the thermal expansion cells and dynamos for ore processing/chemistry machines.
So Simon, Duncan, and Lewis all go to the Nether. Nothing bad will happen because we love the Nether.......... Soon shit hits the fan...... Like we didn't see this coming.
Guys, u can use ender pearls to teleport up through the bedrock at certain elevations. It may take a few, 6-12, but it is possible, but getting down is not as easy. You may want to bring up some dark oak saplings to break back down through. I'm not an expert on this, but getting to and from the roof of the nether is easy you've when prepared yourself correctly.
Man, they can accomplish so much if they just calm down and find the solution. It's better than going, "forget it we'll find a different way, it's too hard."

All you need to reach the level "above" the nether is to dig up to the bedrock roof of the nether, and throw an ender pearl at it.
This is where I usually fight the wither ;)

Guys there is no problem you are spose to go in the bedrock place and walk to the nether core that lewis cheated to.
Bedrock place was in the overworld, and the nether core in the nether, incase all of their teleporting and tping got you confused :)

Oh sure. Make a bridge out of fucking Netherrack. Get some stone in here... actually ANYTHING that's not originally from the nether.. or wood. Why use Netherrack if it's the ONE material that gets destroyed by Ghasts (which there are a fuckton of btw.)

No what I mean is since all I was seeing was dirt creepers I thought Mob Griefing might still be on but that the spatial room only spawned dirt creepers so that normal creepers didn't destroy any of the spatial thingamabobs.

You are actually meant to get outside the main base. If you place an elevator in the marked ring you saw, it will link up the main base elevator with outside.
I like how they did it all right, but then started doing it wrong when they didn't know they did it right.

The portals ment to mess up, it places them on the bedrock layer with the core. Finishing the quests after it makes a portal back to base

Simon you were meant to go to the nether and there is a cube there which you need to go to also - the hell disc you got is for something else. You were meant also to go outside the build and explore the area. Ive placed an elevator in that shaft thing there is a spot for it and it makes it easy to get in and out the building - there is also another special area which needs power but you will be given stuff for that and there is discs that will only work in the new special area your going to love the cube inside the nether (not) it has a whither spawner in it but it also has a chest with lots of reward bags and gold in it = this is in the middle of the cube.
The method for the bedrock is to ender pearl glitch up, then use elevators to get back down as they go through bedrock.
And if they think the nether is bad, just wait until the dragon fight, then they'll know the meaning of Ghast Orgy.
To be honest a this wasn't even the Yogs fault, the quest was worded terribly, and you're allowed outside the base any way.

Don't know if this would help much, but you could try making waypoint on the coordinates given in your quest book. Just so you could get a better sense of direction.

actually you are supposed to find everything u did outside the base. there are no quests for it. But it would be a great episode if you guys went and explored all of the outside.And i mean everything thats where there are trophis and other items, there are also two other areas one duncan found the other is a dreadful bee area wheck has lots of loot though. Keep up the good work but keep in mind this would be a great episode(Even the walls of the outside are important)PS one area is the a quest, its the under construstion wing
