Interesting point, we run our 9 bedroom hotel and a 2 bedroom cottage off a 20kva generator, bearing in mind we have a 3 phase kitchen too. Incredible that the generator for this isn’t much different in continuous output. So 50 litres of fuel per day for the generator,

I know people will disagree but after owning a few boats now it is basically 10% of the purchase price per year in maintenance providing you don't do it yourself, this is a very rough guide but won't be far wrong.

Yup the larger 17.5 kVA genny will also power a gyro if required. They burn approx 1.3lph at idle, 3.4lph at half load and 6.5lph at full load.

I've never seen a Manhattan 52 or 55 with a galley down layout. Is that an option?
Pre-2017 models have a galley forward. There are some beautiful 2006-2008 models on yachtworld. That’s actually the thing I love the most about them.
