Yes, AA and AAA are standardized worldwide and are based on the metric system.... It's strange here in the UK, officially we are metric, so all foodstuffs have to be in Grams but our roadsystem still uses miles and we still measure our speed in Mph

Celsius (really Kelvin) is better for science, though. Everyone almost everywhere uses the same measure of time.

As for the precision of Fahrenheit, the problem is the same, it’s only “precise” in the sense of being a smaller unit, but it’s precision is dependent on the Celsius scale. The modern debate is simply silly because Fahrenheit now is everywhere a scaling factor, *all modern thermometers are Celsius*, they just change the printed lines and numbers.

I think this is Anish's weakness over the board, he hesitates to go for the kill. Because of that he hasn't developed the killer instinct which tells you when to convert and push. It also stills his moves and he psychologically plays safer chess rather than risky chess. This allows his opponent to constantly hammer away at him until he makes a slight mistake. Upon which the game worsens or he has to go for the draw
