Yess N.Flying!!! Just saw them on their tour in the US! They were amazing. One of my top groups. They write some playful bops but some great emotional songs. I love all the members together and Seunghyub-Hweseung combo for vocals/raps is one of my favorites in kpop. Yes the girl in Awesome is Seolhyun from AOA. Since they are FNC they are label mates with FT Island (band), CNBLUE (band), AOA (band/dance), SF9 (dance), Cherry Bullet (dance), P1Harmony (dance). Dongsung came from HONEYST which was another band under FNC that was short lived so he was already in the label and working with the members prior to officially joining them and Hweseung was a trainee that was sent to Produce 101 with intention as a dance idol but clearly he fits so well with N.Flying. Most songs are written by Seunghyub but other members have written as well. Some other songs to check out: Hot Potato, I Like You (most recent), Like A Flower, Good Bam, Rooftop (this is their most well known song, didnt do much when it was released but it grew in popularity and brought them back to music shows and got their first win so more GP know them for this song). Another song ppl like to check out because they have amazing covers is Gurenge by LiSA as they have a series of anime song covers as well as popular western artists. They also have some amazing Japanese releases.

This group is entirely self produced as of 2018. The leader Seunghyub writes almost everything but I know Hun and i think now dongsung have also participated. Seunghyub also writes for other artists and contributed a lot to p1harmonys early discography and wrote at least one sf9 title track. Hwwseung joined after he was on produce 101. I think hed only been a trainee like 6 months when he got called up to join as the new main vocal. The old bassist left and Dongsung has been the leader of a younger fnc band that got disbanded not long after debut. He had trained at FNC for a lomg time and was SUPER good friends with Hun. They asked him to be their touring bassist for all their live shows for about 6 months to a year before he was inducted as an official member. I remember crying I was so happy he got to keep pursuing music and so proud that my members were so openhearted but n.flying has been through a lot of hardship so they are just objectively lovely people who go viral for doing lovely things all the time.
Our Seunghyub (leader) is always good at everything, from singing, rapping, playing guitar and piano, composing amazing songs to even acting. You may see him acting on Nevertheless and Shooting stars for example (his acting is perfect always and he has gaigned a lot of admirers)
N Flying is sooo underrated!! They are coming to LA on Sunday. Hwe Seung is phenomenal. Every member of this group is awesome and their personalities are so much fun, & that transcends into their music. Don’t miss their Queen, Michael Jackson, immortal songs, Lisa cover, etc. Awesome band.
2Idiots are funny and chaotic as hell. Also fun fact, the drummer Jaehyun is the younger brother to Jaekyung who was part of Rainbow. She is now an actress.. all k-drama fans will remember her iconic line introducing herself as Veronica Park in the drama The Secret Life of my Secretary. She was even in some of their 2Idiots videos

Personaly I love Flowerwork, Flashback, 4242 (and they added choreo on it so fun). They don't have bad songs tbh! They are born to be on stage and this final 5 is just perfect together! Awsome was their Korea debut song and tbh it's much much better live with Hweseung and the key changed for him! The raper Lee Seunghyub (J.DON) is the writer and composer of all their latest albums (I would say after Rooftop so from 2019?), rest of the band have some credit in songs that they write all together for N.Fia. N.Flying are deserving of the attention, I wish we had more from them as a group and solos. Everyone will fill you in on stuff and the idols for bands learn the same as others till they are in a group and then it does shift to instrument, technique and production as the bands are self produced they need to also create their content, but also learn any new pieces given to them from other writers. Hweseung is AMAZING. His vocals are off the grid. Lol HIGH. His immortal song stages are wow and just always glad to hear his vocals, just wish we heard them more often. seunghyub is the main composer of all their albums n almost all of their song.. They even do song for campaign like suicide prevention campaign and even a follow-up song (flower fantasy) for fans replying all the heartwarming messages n story they received after its okay was released..

N.Flying is SO amazing! Hweseung will knock your socks off over and over, I guarantee, both with the group and in his solo performances. There is so much to recommend, I wouldn't even know where to start, but I strongly suggest you check out their live performances because they are outstanding. Yey N.Flying!!! Glad you like them. Their songs are so fun and some are so deeply emotional. I knew them because of Rooftop and GoodBam and later on I fall in love with them so much. I would like to suggest you to see their live performance, Seunghyub and Hwesung voices were blended so amazingly on their stages performances. My personal favorite is Flashback live but all of their live are amazing. Oh and my all time favorite are Starlight and It's Fine. Besides that recently Seunghyub and Hwesung perform on Begin Again and there they also show us how talented they are as a vocalist. You need to check it out. Thank you RJ!!
Omg so I will say as a fan of many groups where I've seen many talented individuals in vocals I must say Hweseung is one of the best and he kinda gets overshadowed bc he's in a kband. He definitely goes in the same category of vocalist like Jinho and Hui as well

I started stanning N.flying after moonshot and their repacage album with Sober, and i have never gotten disapointed by their music, it's too good to be true
Omg I love n.flying they are one of my fav kband ever. their music is perfect and the way they compose songs is incredible. They were so unserious ab Hweseung's debut pls, using him as a bait in the real . Hweseung also has an incredible ballad duet song with Lee Hongki (th incredible vocalist of another iconic kband, FT.Island) called "still love you", you will be shocked by their vocals, i assure you. I would love to see more reaction on them, you'll love their music, specially 'hot potato', 'sober' and 'i like you'... They also have a lot of bsides live clips from concerts and i have to say their energy is unmatched, i would recommend 'flashback', 'pardon' and '4242'
I love how N.flying's music has progressed since debut. I can connect to their music more these days, its just gets better and better. I know them since 2019 and my bias is Dongsung:) I also recommend Hwesung's cover of the song 'Someone like you' on immortal songs, I think you will like it
Also check out the Begin Again series with Hwe Seung & Seunghyub. Recorded in a cave; the audio is so beautiful. Hwe Seung’s voice is absolutely incredible (as always) and his soft, pure, strong vocals in that cave are surreal.
I don't follow N.Flying super closely cuz the first song of theirs I really liked was Rooftop but because of that I checked out both their full albums, Brotherhood (Japanese) and Man On The Moon and I thought those were both really good albums. My favourite song of theirs overall is their Japanese song Lupin.
I highly recommend rooftop, like a flower (my personal favorite by them!), & good bam. fire covers as well, my fave is probably 'dont start now - dua lipa'. they're such a great group, and I love their personalities even more than their music 😅❤️ omg the 2idiots channel is super worth checking out, jaehyun & hun are so chaotic dhdkdksh
Only seen one other person mention it but there is a special stage with the Jaehyuns of Kpop covering EXO! NCT Jaehyun was a great center but it was N Flying Jaehyun that surprised and wowed me in the second half. Also this Jaehyun is an actor too haha

Last year I went to their concert, and While they were performing, their mic suddenly stopped working but still I could hear their voice! (Even though the mic for instruments were on and I was sitting in the very last row of the venue)

Yes, N.Flying! I was sooooo obsessed with Moonshot when it came out, and it's still a heavy play on my Spotify. The lyrics are so meaningful and inspiring. Since you're on a new groups kick, I'm hoping to see ONF soon. Reminder that when you react to Goosebumps, make sure to react to their dance practice video as well. Thank you so much for reacting to N.FLYING they are sooooooooo underrated!! They have some of the best live performances you will ever see, and have amazing chemistry. Hweseung is a VOCAL POWERHOUSE! and is one of the best in the kpop industry. he and Seunghyub voices compliment eachother so so well. After Hweseung joined the band their music definitely changed a lot. and after dongsung i think they really became the best version of themselves. i definitely reccomend checking out their live performances and covers, my favourite cover of theirs is "I" by Taeyeon or Hold my hand by IU. their title tracks might not showcase how crazy good of a vocalist hweseung really is so if you want to dive deeper into him i definitely recommend watching some of his solo performances on immortal songs and covers on his own youtube channel. but if i were to recommend some of N.FLYING's songs my favorites are. Leave It, flashback, sunset and monster. and in my opinion i think their Japanese discography is way better than their korean. so i recommend checking them out as well, especially Stand By Me. anyways! thank you so so so much for reacting to them, and i hope you will do more again soon

They love performing with fans, and still busk to this day (they livestreamed one of their busking sessions a week or two ago). Gurenge is amazing, and they just released the OST for Taxi Driver 2! If you liked "The Real," I'd recommend "Hot Potato" and the live performance for "Flowerwork" and "Awesome" from their Flying High concerts. (**Spoiler Alert** The "mermaid" is actually a trainer who appeared in Produce 101 Season 2 with Hweseung!, Jang Moon Bok!) The lowdown on the members: Seung Hyub (leader, vocalist, rapper, piano/guitar) -- the leader who also writes almost all of N.Flying's songs, also goes by the name J.Don when promoting solo. While the leader and the "dad" of the group, unfortunately the victim of most of the group's antics. Particular weakness is the maknae. Hun (guitarist) - the guitarist and the "mom" of the group. Known to be a very good cook. Also human in the form of a cat. A reluctant(?) half of 2IDIOTS. Due to go to mandated military this month. Takes part of the songwriting process. Jaehyun (drummer) - the (clumsy) drummer and an absolute ham. Conniving to take over the world. Also very talented artistically. His sister is Jaekyung from Rainbow. Hweseung (main vocalist) - main vocalist of the group and a marshmallow. Loves food (though does eat as much, apparently) and also known as a good cook. Already established himself as a stellar vocalist on various programs and contributed to OSTs. Most famous for his ability to go six(!) octaves. Dongsung (bass/maknae) - newest member of the group, though trained with them for years. When the original bass left, he served as session bassist until N.Flying went to their CEO and requested him to be an official member (this was revealed through a TH-cam show). He was briefly the bass and leader of Honeyst, a group abruptly broken up by the company after two years. Also secretly plotting to take over the world. Songwriting debut in "Blue Scene" from the Man of the Moon album. A lot of N.Flying clips are untranslated, unfortunately. A note about Jaehyun in particular, especially since he trained for so long. He was in a very bad accident when he was young, and was in a coma for a while: this was revealed during a reality show(?) showcasing N.Flying before they debuted. That's why he has such a zest for life (though a lot of it is due to his natural personality lololol)
N.Flying are the best. I love these guys so much. So much good music over the years! Live stages are the best to get to know them I think... One of my personal favourite is the song Sunset which they released as part of Fly High Project. Their energy and live vocals and harmonising on stage is just another level. Seunhyub also goes under J.DON and has released solo work. He also writes for other groups. They are a group of talented and funny guys.

Rooftop is still one of my favourite songs ever! You should give it a listen for sure! Hweeseung and Dongsung added so much finesse to this group. Jaehyun, Hun and Seunghyub were already pros at what they did but the combination of these 5 together is just talent overload.

also abt their dynamics, theyre getting along really well despite member changes, too well actually. i guess one thing that the members were being open hearted and it worked bcs THEYRE the ones that wanted to have new members and picked the members themselves, but also some other reasons like how they already knew and were close with dongsung (the latest one got added) beforehand.

i know the line up is confusing but once you get it youd be fine 🤣 but to answer ur question abt how the additional members were added, for hweseung (the main vocalist) he was added bcs they needed another powerful vocalist to support the band, seunghyub (the leader) said it himself that his addition helped a lot! and for dongsung (the bassist replacing the former member) simply got added bcs they needed a new bassist, but nflying have already knew and very familiar with him beforehand, he was a member of another band in the same company but the band disbanded, and after the disbandment he helped nflying to become their bass sessionist before seunghyub (the leader) and the rest asked him to join as an official member basically in n.flying, its mainly the members own agreement whether to add new members or not, maybe the company can suggest or give some ideas but theyre the decision makers for this.. its a bit different than typical kpop groups where they have very little to no say in this
Hun’s name is just pronounced “Hoon”! no extra “y’s” in there ^^ And Hweseung is definitely one of the more difficult names, my best advice is to pronounce it “Hw-eh seung” but you nailed pretty much all their names otherwise so really good job with that! Something I wanted to note - you may recognize this the more MV’s you watch/the more you get to know the members + their personalities later on - the concept they have in their “Awesome” was an image put on them by their company at the time. They’re not really like the sleezy guy Seunghyub was portraying, but I think you already notice that in The Real Also I’m very impressed you managed to recognize their mascot at the end of “Awesome”! This group is entirely self produced as of 2018. The leader Seunghyub writes almost everything but I know Hun and i think now dongsung have also participated. Seunghyub also writes for other artists and contributed a lot to p1harmonys early discography and wrote at least one sf9 title track. Hwwseung joined after he was on produce 101. I think hed only been a trainee like 6 months when he got called up to join as the new main vocal. The old bassist left and Dongsung has been the leader of a younger fnc band that got disbanded not long after debut. He had trained at FNC for a lomg time and was SUPER good friends with Hun. They asked him to be their touring bassist for all their live shows for about 6 months to a year before he was inducted as an official member. I remember crying I was so happy he got to keep pursuing music and so proud that my members were so openhearted but n.flying has been through a lot of hardship so they are just objectively lovely people who go viral for doing lovely things all the time.
Our Seunghyub (leader) is always good at everything, from singing, rapping, playing guitar and piano, composing amazing songs to even acting. You may see him acting on Nevertheless and Shooting stars for example (his acting is perfect always and he has gaigned a lot of admirers)
I highly recommend the live version of Awesome!! It's from when Hweseung was added! Having both Seunghyub and Hweseung on it is amazing 🤩🤩
N Flying is sooo underrated!! They are coming to LA on Sunday. Hwe Seung is phenomenal. Every member of this group is awesome and their personalities are so much fun, & that transcends into their music. Don’t miss their Queen, Michael Jackson, immortal songs, Lisa cover, etc. Awesome band.
2Idiots are funny and chaotic as hell. Also fun fact, the drummer Jaehyun is the younger brother to Jaekyung who was part of Rainbow. She is now an actress.. all k-drama fans will remember her iconic line introducing herself as Veronica Park in the drama The Secret Life of my Secretary. She was even in some of their 2Idiots videos

N.Flying are deserving of the attention, I wish we had more from them as a group and solos.
Everyone will fill you in on stuff and the idols for bands learn the same as others till they are in a group and then it does shift to instrument, technique and production as the bands are self produced they need to also create their content, but also learn any new pieces given to them from other writers.

N.Flying is SO amazing! Hweseung will knock your socks off over and over, I guarantee, both with the group and in his solo performances. There is so much to recommend, I wouldn't even know where to start, but I strongly suggest you check out their live performances because they are outstanding. (For a true experience with Hweseung's voice watch the 2022 "&CON" live version of Flashback)
Yey N.Flying!!! Glad you like them. Their songs are so fun and some are so deeply emotional. I knew them because of Rooftop and GoodBam and later on I fall in love with them so much. I would like to suggest you to see their live performance, Seunghyub and Hwesung voices were blended so amazingly on their stages performances. My personal favorite is Flashback live but all of their live are amazing. Oh and my all time favorite are Starlight and It's Fine.

Omg so I will say as a fan of many groups where I've seen many talented individuals in vocals I must say Hweseung is one of the best and he kinda gets overshadowed bc he's in a kband. He definitely goes in the same category of vocalist like Jinho and Hui as well

They were so unserious ab Hweseung's debut pls, using him as a bait in the real . Hweseung also has an incredible ballad duet song with Lee Hongki (th incredible vocalist of another iconic kband, FT.Island) called "still love you", you will be shocked by their vocals, i assure you.

I love how N.flying's music has progressed since debut. I can connect to their music more these days, its just gets better and better. I know them since 2019 and my bias is Dongsung:) I also recommend Hwesung's cover of the song 'Someone like you' on immortal songs, I think you will like it
Also check out the Begin Again series with Hwe Seung & Seunghyub. Recorded in a cave; the audio is so beautiful. Hwe Seung’s voice is absolutely incredible (as always) and his soft, pure, strong vocals in that cave are surreal.
I don't follow N.Flying super closely cuz the first song of theirs I really liked was Rooftop but because of that I checked out both their full albums, Brotherhood (Japanese) and Man On The Moon and I thought those were both really good albums. My favourite song of theirs overall is their Japanese song Lupin.
I highly recommend rooftop, like a flower (my personal favorite by them!), & good bam. fire covers as well, my fave is probably 'dont start now - dua lipa'. they're such a great group, and I love their personalities even more than their music 😅❤️

Yes, N.Flying! I was sooooo obsessed with Moonshot when it came out, and it's still a heavy play on my Spotify. The lyrics are so meaningful and inspiring. Hweseung is a VOCAL POWERHOUSE! and is one of the best in the kpop industry. he and Seunghyub voices compliment eachother so so well. After Hweseung joined the band their music definitely changed a lot. and after dongsung i think they really became the best version of themselves. i definitely reccomend checking out their live performances and covers, my favourite cover of theirs is "I" by Taeyeon or Hold my hand by IU.
their title tracks might not showcase how crazy good of a vocalist hweseung really is so if you want to dive deeper into him i definitely recommend watching some of his solo performances on immortal songs and covers on his own youtube channel. but if i were to recommend some of N.FLYING's songs my favorites are. Leave It, flashback, sunset and monster. and in my opinion i think their Japanese discography is way better than their korean. so i recommend checking them out as well, especially Stand By Me. anyways! thank you so so so much for reacting to them, and i hope you will do more again soon

I echo the sentiment from fellow commenters about their live--watched them in both New York and Atlanta and the energy they bring to every performance is on point! They love performing with fans, and still busk to this day (they livestreamed one of their busking sessions a week or two ago). Gurenge is amazing, and they just released the OST for Taxi Driver 2! If you liked "The Real," I'd recommend "Hot Potato" and the live performance for "Flowerwork" and "Awesome" from their Flying High concerts.

The lowdown on the members:
Seung Hyub (leader, vocalist, rapper, piano/guitar) -- the leader who also writes almost all of N.Flying's songs, also goes by the name J.Don when promoting solo. While the leader and the "dad" of the group, unfortunately the victim of most of the group's antics. Particular weakness is the maknae.
Hun (guitarist) - the guitarist and the "mom" of the group. Known to be a very good cook. Also human in the form of a cat. A reluctant(?) half of 2IDIOTS. Due to go to mandated military this month. Takes part of the songwriting process.
Jaehyun (drummer) - the (clumsy) drummer and an absolute ham. Conniving to take over the world. Also very talented artistically. His sister is Jaekyung from Rainbow.
Hweseung (main vocalist) - main vocalist of the group and a marshmallow. Loves food (though does eat as much, apparently) and also known as a good cook. Already established himself as a stellar vocalist on various programs and contributed to OSTs. Most famous for his ability to go six(!) octaves.
Dongsung (bass/maknae) - newest member of the group, though trained with them for years. When the original bass left, he served as session bassist until N.Flying went to their CEO and requested him to be an official member (this was revealed through a TH-cam show). He was briefly the bass and leader of Honeyst, a group abruptly broken up by the company after two years. Also secretly plotting to take over the world. Songwriting debut in "Blue Scene" from the Man of the Moon album.
A lot of N.Flying clips are untranslated, unfortunately. A note about Jaehyun in particular, especially since he trained for so long. He was in a very bad accident when he was young, and was in a coma for a while: this was revealed during a reality show(?) showcasing N.Flying before they debuted. That's why he has such a zest for life (though a lot of it is due to his natural personality lololol)

N.Flying are the best. I love these guys so much. So much good music over the years! Live stages are the best to get to know them I think... One of my personal favourite is the song Sunset which they released as part of Fly High Project.
Their energy and live vocals and harmonising on stage is just another level. Seunhyub also goes under J.DON and has released solo work. He also writes for other groups. They are a group of talented and funny guys.
I would love if you continued checking out more N.Flying! If you liked Moonshot a lot then you'd definitely enjoy their live stages and more recent songs (from Rooftop onwards)

Rooftop is still one of my favourite songs ever! You should give it a listen for sure! Hweeseung and Dongsung added so much finesse to this group. Jaehyun, Hun and Seunghyub were already pros at what they did but the combination of these 5 together is just talent overload.

also abt their dynamics, theyre getting along really well despite member changes, too well actually. i guess one thing that the members were being open hearted and it worked bcs THEYRE the ones that wanted to have new members and picked the members themselves, but also some other reasons like how they already knew and were close with dongsung (the latest one got added) beforehand.

i know the line up is confusing but once you get it youd be fine 🤣 but to answer ur question abt how the additional members were added, for hweseung (the main vocalist) he was added bcs they needed another powerful vocalist to support the band, seunghyub (the leader) said it himself that his addition helped a lot!
and for dongsung (the bassist replacing the former member) simply got added bcs they needed a new bassist, but nflying have already knew and very familiar with him beforehand, he was a member of another band in the same company but the band disbanded, and after the disbandment he helped nflying to become their bass sessionist before seunghyub (the leader) and the rest asked him to join as an official member
basically in n.flying, its mainly the members own agreement whether to add new members or not, maybe the company can suggest or give some ideas but theyre the decision makers for this.. its a bit different than typical kpop groups where they have very little to no say in this
Next please Still Loving You By Lee Honggi (FTISLAND) ft HWESEUNG (NFLYING)
Hun’s name is just pronounced “Hoon”! no extra “y’s” in there ^^ And Hweseung is definitely one of the more difficult names, my best advice is to pronounce it “Hw-eh seung” but you nailed pretty much all their names otherwise so really good job with that!
Something I wanted to note - you may recognize this the more MV’s you watch/the more you get to know the members + their personalities later on - the concept they have in their “Awesome” was an image put on them by their company at the time. They’re not really like the sleezy guy Seunghyub was portraying, but I think you already notice that in The Real
Also I’m very impressed you managed to recognize their mascot at the end of “Awesome”! N.Fie is the name of their penguin mascot (so you do sometimes see it used as a secondary logo of sorts), but it doesn’t always come off as a penguin to some people 😅
