When a kpop group decides to embrace actual Kpop is when they eat most, 99% of the time. It's giving 2nd/3rd gen kpop in just the scale, drama and production. Same with the MV. You might think of Super M and SM in general because the writers and producers of the song do a lot for SM, I think they did actually do Jopping! They put everything into this CB and it shows and I hope this pops off for them because I am TIRED of them being overlooked and underappreciated like they are. Look at the material.
Admittedly I dont listen to TBZ that much but enough to clock the fully 3rd gen energy they're bringing to a lot of songs. Maybe thats why they're overlooked, ppl think its dated or didn't grow w that sound. 🤷🏿♂️ Also this last track is 1000000% reminiscent of early 00s Neptunes productions. Maybe even earlier, like N.O.R.E. but def their sound for sure in the beg. And the plugins, they're def using a Neptunes producer pack, whoever made this beat. I'd recognize this sound anywhere.
