Usyk is already one of the Greatest P4P fighter, regardless of the result of the rematch. Nobody could beat so much bigger elite opponents like Usyk did - after his 34 birthday.
Great to see you Paulie! I've got Usyk by KO! I hope that's what happens because of the social engineering outside the ring that Fury is doing to get inside the heads of the judges and commentators.
@@kennywilkinson913Fury directly referenced certain commentators by name and told them to count every punch landed. Cope. He lost fairly to the better man/boxer on the night. Simple.

I think what's missing here, which might have actually been the beginning of the end, is what happened in the Ngannou fight. Because let’s face it, no one saw that coming. As much as Fury would like to sweep it under the rug as just a "night off," it was clear that it wasn’t. Let’s also look at Fury’s activity over this period. He fought Wilder after ballooning to a crazy weight, then completed the trilogy with 7-8-month gaps in between fights. Seven months later, he was back to face Whyte, and another 7 months later, he faced Chisora. People gave him a lot of stick for fighting Chisora, but in all honesty, he needed a fight like that-one where he could stay active without pushing himself to the limit. The same mentality could be applied to the Whyte fight. After that, Fury took a year off, which I think he really deserved. During that time, we saw all the ducking and diving he did around fighting Usyk. Regardless of the media take and what he himself said on camera, he knew he wasn’t ready for Usyk, and the proof came out when he stepped in with Ngannou. He got beat, and we saw shades of the former Fury. In hindsight, it makes sense. Let’s be real: a prime Fury would have handled Ngannou easily, “night on” or “night off.” While it was a very entertaining and competitive fight, Fury vs. Usyk 1 showed Usyk as the clear winner. As much as I’d like to say I’m a Fury fan, I don’t see him winning this fight tonight. Father Time has spoken. There are no surprises here. His somber mood all week isn’t mysterious-he doesn’t want to be there. Usyk wins tonight, and Fury announces his retirement post fight. Or… I’m talking a bunch of rubbish, and I’ll be happy to eat humble pie 🤣
This is post fight. I think a lot of fans who haven't boxed underestimate the skill involved in just relaxing in the ring and as well the art of pressuring the other guy with movement that doesnt drain energy. Usyk may not punch like a george foreman or tyson but he can pop when he loads up and hes good at varying tempo. You are so right about these eastern european guys. They dont stop training, do a lot more conditioning versus traditional boxing ie bags, sparring, rope jumping, some phys ed stuff and some weights. I boxed in the mid 70s and weights were taboo. Not so in eastern europe. I felt like, as often is the case, the second fight was more decisive than the first. Usyk is different style wise, i wont say awkward, just different. Nobody here is taught to double up with your back hand, but now you see it all the time. He also brings in his cross like a hook around the guard, but not a hook. And the footwork... These guys all can do that pendulum for hours, look at bivol. And usyk combines it with a side to side. Hes just a busy guy in the ring. I think he would have given any heavyweight in history fits. Boxing isnt always stick and move and jab, jab, jab. Hes a very good boxer puncher just one were not used to seeing. On a separate note, dave allens skill is underappreciated. Another guy at home in the ring. He got robbed but wasnt a crybaby like fury who actually lost deciseively.
Usyk but looking back on the first fight I can see how fury can win . The rounds fury won were handy , the rounds usyk won were really hard fought for . Adjustments could be made for fury that could be the difference. Like you Paulie I am torn but I shant stay on the fence and il say usyk because the pace he will set
Usyk for the win... TKO in the 12th round, he's just gonna wear Fury out, break him down and push him way past his physical and mental limits. Pressure, pressure, pressure, Usyk is gonna stick to him like shit on bedsheets🤣
Hey Champ! Happy fight day. I think the only way Usyk wins is by stoppage. He won 8 rounds last time out with the big 9th and still won a razor thin split decision. Therefore, if Fury wins 5 rounds this time, they may give it to him. Money talks and they want the rubber match. Only Usyk can stop that from happening. Fury can win if he really gets those legs in shape. If he did his road work, then there is a good chance to pull this out but I'm going with Usyk by stoppage in the 9th or 10th.
Spot on Pauli, as usual. I think Fury has one plan, just as in Wilder II: knock him out. And I think there is a decent chance that Fury knocks him out in one of the rounds 5-7. But he has to be as sharp as in Wilder II and perhaps he's not (he's even indicated himself that that fight was a long time ago in recent interviews). I do not think Fury wins a decision.
Damm Paulie usyk hit ‘em with a good shot and continued to give shots without and blocks and Tyson didn’t go down and ended up winning the 12th round on all judges scorecards, if that’s not chin and resilience then something ls up with u Paulie
Yup! It's over. The best heavyweight since the Klitschko era is Usyk. From one Ukrainian to another. I never saw that coming. I am a huge Fury fan and I thought Fury won, but it is what it is. I felt like Fury carried the division for years. He was the soul of the division (love him or hate him) and Usyk just nicked it at the end. I respect Usyk. He is a great champion, especially considering he is a natural cruiserweight. Ireally thought Fury won the second fight but it's was still an absolutely phenomenal performance by the smaller man. Congrats Usyk
Hi Paulie, you’re legend of the fight game respect 🥊 I think Usyk will adjust from the first fight because he’s a real student of the game….I just don’t see Fury’s bully tactics working because Usyk will be 3 steps ahead in terms of ring general ship. you of course know a lot more about boxing then I do Paulie but I’ve never bought into the narrative of fury being a boxing genius? No I actually think he’s just a giant bully who finally got bullied back but he doesn’t like it
I like you Paulie but you’re wrong on a lot of things here; - fury was 273 for the second wilder fight, not 283 as you said. - Usyk has never ‘dropped’ Fury. - you said Fury didn’t adapt in the first Usyk fight, he did. Usyk was on top for the first 2/3 rounds in their first fight so fury adapted but then Usyk adapted back!
Fury is 36 years old with years upon years of drug and alcohol abuse, ballooning up and down 150+ pounds in weight, not living right. All of that will reveal itself tonight and that will be the last we see of Luke
Fury is having a hard time accepting the gact that his time is overwith. Fury lost the zest after the wilder. He's nowhere near the hoxer he was against wilder. He's simoly out of shape for this fight. Cruiserweights make great heavywieight imo. Faster. More entertaining, active .
Paulie, you're a very intelligent guy but remember Fury was wearing alot of clothing and his a very deceptive guy. You gotta address this abit more here, you can't just say 281lb he was definitely hiding his true weight. I think his around 271lb.
Wilder the biggest puncher in HW history? Sad seeing Paulie push that BS. Wilder never even knocked down anyone with a beard. Parker and Zhang exposed that myth.
Wilder is without a doubt one of the biggest punchers in heavyweight history, you can try to deny it all you like but facts don’t care about your opinion.
Why is it alluded that usyk is small? 6 ft 2 and 226 pounds!! I really think that Chisora was the one that gave the most problem to him. I had chisora winning the fight! Fury needs to come forward like chisora and not try to go fancy like in the first match

Fury can never ever bully Usyk. Usyk is so much better and stronger in the clinch. Usyk will destroy Fury today.
