      I'm always a bit of a geek when it comes to wild edibles, I find the whole subject pretty fascinating, especially the medicinal side of things. Thanks for your comment my friend, very much appreciated as always 👍

    Fun video mate. Here in Louisiana mosquitoes are the unofficial State Bird. I've had remarkable results with treating my gear and clothes with Permethrin, and Picaridin for exposed skin. Those tarp clips are quite handy aren't they. Cheers to you and yours !

      @TreeDeepOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey my friend! Going to have to get myself from Permethrin for sure! I've not heard of Picaridin but I'm aware you're a man of knowledge and so will definitely look into that also! I appreciate the advice as always sir!

    Hay Bro, Your " looking better", eye,eye ! Sorry,
    Anyway, now ya talking, you done some home work on this video, I like the info, very informative and to spot too with the edible's. Sleep mat, if you can get hold of a Clas Ohlson extra thick close cell mat, "Buy it. I have had mine for years, use it a lot, weight is nothing, and I think when I got mine in 2016 it was 15 quid ! oh and its 20 mm thick and brilliant, all year.
    love all the wild life input too Mr Fox etc. Keep up the excellent work mate.
    Oh by the way, if you want to stop getting sick and shit in ya eye ! keep out of our rivers and inshore waters, the UK is crap with dealing with Crap, ask any surfer mate !
    Big thumbs , regards
    Moose.

      Eye see what you did there! 😂. I just checked out some Clas Ohlson gear, looks extremely good! I've already gone and purchased a Dutch Army Roll Mat that accompanies the Hooped Bivvy but...you can never have enough gear really! And I know you know what you're talking about so, that's my excuse to my partner when I purchase another sleep pad! Absolutely going to stay out of the water if I can help it, especially after seeing all the news about the 💩 they've been offloading into it! Thanks for your comment and advice as always brother, hope you're well and have a great weekend!

    Hey man thanks for all the video's you posted, alot of them are very helpful for someone like myself just starting bushcraft/hiking...
    what boots do you wear or what would you recommend ?...and also socks, what socks you wear ?..... i was told thin nylon dress socks works best but i haven't shopped yet, just been asking around first before i buy the footwear

    • @TreeDeepOutdoors
      @TreeDeepOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Hikerbro_Metalhead, my boots are Jack Pyke Tundra 2 Boots, relatively light, waterproof and really tough, I can highly recommend those sir! As for socks, I've not got much hiking experience but being in the woods all day I wear pretty much any socks I can get my hands on throughout the day but when it comes to bedding down I'll always take a spare pair of thermal socks. Thanks for your comment my friend, I remember when I was getting started with this outdoor journey, still having as much fun now as I was then as I'm sure you will too brother!

    what i find fascinating is humans spent 10000 years carrying around a smouldering fire starter before they actually learned how to make fire from scratch, must have sucked if it went out, and you have to wait until you come across another fire.

    Don’t feed the Foxes…I have had a family come and have babies two years in a row underneath my back deck across from my pond. Don’t want them to become not afraid of people here in the states we have guns will get them shot. Have fun get better
