I have the same mixer, I’ve only ever used 1210’s and the filter colour effect feels underwhelming. Do you know if this is an issue because I’m using vinyl, or do I need to look at replacing parts to get it functioning?
@@clemo86v24 Hi, I don't quite understand your problem. Is your mixer sounding not the way it's supposed to? If so, it shouldn't be related to playing vinyls.

Woher weiß der Mixer wie viel bpm der Track hat? Oder hast du die bpm eingetappt
Die Pioneer Mixer können die Geschwindigkeit selber erkennen. Das funktioniert dann manchmal bei breakdowns im Song nicht mehr, aber im allgemeinen läuft das zuverlässig.
Ich gehe davon aus, dass der Algorithmus im Mixer auf sich wiederholende laute Stellen im Song achtet, beispielsweise eine Kick. Das geht dann auch gut bei House oder Techno. Die Genauigkeit bei anderen musikalischen Genres kann ich nicht beurteilen.

So nothing lights up? If that is the case, a fuse might be the problem. Or simply the power supply assembly... If you are a person who knows how these things with electronical parts work, you could prove the outputs of the power supply. If the voltages aren't the right ones check with a DMM and a shematic which parts could be the problem
why your fx potenciometers are reversed?

I assume that you would like to use the DJM over USB with some software, right?
The DJM-800 doesn't have a USB-Port for an included soundcard. So you have to buy an extra audio interface for that and connect the outputs to the inputs of the DJM 800. Or you buy (if I remember correctly) a DJM-250 MK2, 450, 750 (MK1/MK2), 850, 900NXS (1/2) or 2000 (NXS), all of these mixers feature included USB audio interfaces which you can use for software

I'm new at this, it looks like each deck has some type of card that can be inserted in the front, I have a Traktor audio 6 interface, but I see what you mean, my interface has a USB but not my mixer, do you know of a way to run this without a 💻? I'm down to insert the ancient cds, lol!

If you want to run your setup without a computer you need some dj players. A typical setup would be: 2x Pioneer CDJ and 1x DJM. It depends on how much you want to spend on dj gear.
- If you buy CDJs the best cheapest option (in my opinion) are the CDJ-1000MK3s. These were the club standard from 2006-2009. The only problem is that you have to burn your music on cds. (used price in Germany for 2x: 450-500€) But actually these players are still very good. Yes, they are have very basic functions but they are tanks in terms of solidity/robustness haha. I also started with a set of 2x CDJ-1000MK1.
- If you want some players with USB (so you can insert a usb stick with music) it gets a bit more pricey. I think the CDJ-850s, are a great but cheap option here. (used price in Germany for 2x: 800-900€)
- The next step would be the Pioneer XDJ-700, these players are all you need. Used you can get some for just a little bit more than the CDJ-850/900. (used price in Germany for 2x: 1000€)
The actually cheapest way would be if you buy a dj controller (e.g. Pioneer DDJ-400 is a great one and very cheap, just 250€ with software). But in this case you still need a computer but the soundcard is included.

@@doclaquanhta79 My first CDJs were the 1000 MK1. They are pretty good. But they can only read Audio CDs, so you can't put more than 12-20 Tracks on one Disk because there is no space. The MK3 (I still have two) are a nice step up: They have a better Jogwheel, brighter LEDs and most importantly they can read MP3 CDs. There you can put somewhere around 80-100 Tracks on one CD. So you dont have to carry lots of cds with you.
If you just mix at home and want to have some fun the MK1s are enough. Some years ago I uploaded a mix where I use these players (the mix is not very good but you see how they perform): th-cam.com/video/iCeafKAMaOU/w-d-xo.html

They are broken off but were still usable. If you look closely, there are little metal pins, that's the fader

I've bought this mixer in this condition, before it was used in a club. Sadly it's pretty common that people steal the knobs and fader caps from mixers
Oliver López :( but you can buy the knobs on ebay they dont cost so much i think 1 or 2€
@@riccardoz.9669 It was fine for me with only 2 channels, I would have only replaced the faders. But 1 month after this video it had a electronics failure so I sold it for parts
@@oliverlopezofficial Someone is selling for $ 250, but one of the faders needs to be replace and there are very large scratches on the faders, I'm thinking, I'm using djm 600
@@doclaquanhta79 Replacing a Fader on the DJM-800 is not very difficult. If everything else works fine the offer is ok. But you never know if everything works fine when the price is so low.
The DJM800 you see in the video cost me 360€ (440USD) and after two months the power supply stopped working. And the condition was not great...
