If the point was showing the new mascara, I really really wish they'd zoomed in and actually shown it. I was almost talked out of trying it because you couldn't see any products in detail in this example. I know that natural is Glossier's signature, but if I can't tell the difference before and after because of how the video was shot it's not selling me the products. I want to like it, and I love Glossier! I just want to SEE it first.
There's at least one extensive review from one of their brand ambassadors on youtube too, and that with the instagram story pics really helped. I knew I'd like it, I just wanted serious close-ups so bad! :)
Well also their company is aimed at people who just wanna give their skin a little more life. I’m a huge fan of glossier, I have good skin and I appreciate my ‘privilege ‘ if u will- and so their products are perfect for me cus they just make me look more polished? Their target market is people like me, not necessarily people with cystic/intense acne or discolouration, I don’t expect a brand aimed at people with unfortunate skin conditions to advertise on a model with super clear skin. I know many people with good skin wear full coverage makeup but ngl for the people like me who hate that look or don’t like the feeling, glossier is perfect.
I actually have great skin, and I love Glossier and have several of their products because I want extremely minimal makeup and no foundation or base products at all. I was just looking for real close-ups of the new mascara so I could decide if I liked the little fibers in the formula. There are better shots on their instagram stories.
eden sinclair honestly, their makeup is so sheer that it literally makes no difference to hyperpigmented or blemished skin and they wouldn’t want to promote that. i don’t understand why bc they’re isolating such a large part of their market but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
lizzie sleeps people with blemishes don't have to use full coverage makeup. There's tons of people who have blemishes who want to have light dewy makeup too and it's no secret that this makeup is very sheer but it is possible to still look pretty with acne peaking through sheer makeup
eden sinclair I completely agree sorry I feel like I misinterpreted your comment and I 100 percent love and support people with acne wearing dewy natural looks x
There should be matte lidstars or liquid eyeshadows. Something natural but with a hint for every skin tone. And please make your mascara come in brown.
hey Glossier I know your whole branding is "less is more, emphasize your natural beauty" but when're y'all gonna use a model with acne scars, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles or any kind of skin that doesn't look like they sacrifice young maidens like Elizabeth Bathory to attain? it would also help demonstrate the effectiveness of your products in addition to being more realistic to your market base, hint hint
i reaallyyy wish glossier sells their product in australia, like i’ve nene dying to get my hands on glossier but the shipping is sooo expensive plus the US price is cheaper, they literally add $12 AUS dollars to every product.
Carolyn Springman have only tried one in real life and I feel like they look beautiful on first application, especially if u layer it so it’s not translucent... but it doesn’t seem to wear amazingly and becomes a bit patchy
honestly all the glossier products are overpriced and unpractical except maybe for the lip gloss and the cloud paint. people keep hyping up this brand just bc of the packaging.
babyphace Ik it depends on skin type etc but glossier is perfect for me, it’s defs not just the packaging! I only use a few things bc I’m used to a more simple look now and it doesn’t feel expensive bc I don’t buy other makeup anymore. Definitely changed my whole routine for the better
i CANT imagine glossier with black packaging
wow she straight up said clowdpaint wasn’t the best cream blush, while working for glossier
She doesn't work for Glossier
@@SolsGarage she is in a glossier Video...
love how she explains what she does/why it works it makes so much sense
very pretty
could have used a touch of wowder in the middle of the forehead

Ok but...when is glossier gonna have a model with acne or hyperpigmentation do a makeup tutorial
eden sinclair honestly, their makeup is so sheer that it literally makes no difference to hyperpigmented or blemished skin and they wouldn’t want to promote that. i don’t understand why bc they’re isolating such a large part of their market but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There are so many other brands and products for blemished skin that are full coverage and Dewey natural makeup is on trend
lizzie sleeps people with blemishes don't have to use full coverage makeup. There's tons of people who have blemishes who want to have light dewy makeup too and it's no secret that this makeup is very sheer but it is possible to still look pretty with acne peaking through sheer makeup

Do people sit around all day waiting for glossier to post a video just so they can post this same comment
DO ONE WITH ANNIE. I AM ANTICIPATING.

Lovely look! And some good tips
what brush was used for the pimple concealing?! Looks like a pencil brush?
she kind of looks like kendal jenner
stephanie ! Imo she looks like a combination of Kendall Jenner and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Iis Arman yes! You hit it right o the nose!
i see the sandra bullock but don’t see the kendall
Exactly what i thought!
Looks like her mom
I'm literally so over seeing everyone get lip fillers.
yeah like the whole natural makeup but lip fillers concept is so weird to me bcs it just does not look natural anymore
Her face was literally so fake that it actually didn't MOVE LOL!
She looks in her 40s but sounds 20.
I honestly think it's the lip fillers. It makes everyone look so older
If Sandra bullock and kendal jenner had a baby
please do more of the grwm series!!
Love this look
wow so beautiful
This looks greasy
messymonster it's called dewy honey
gogogo there's a difference between the two. Don't call me honey.
messymonster not really. This isn't an oil slick so I wouldn't call it greasy, sweetie
gogogo look at the "dew" beside her nose and all over the centre of her forehead. And upper lip. And under eye. And jawline.
messymonster um yeah that looks like dew to me honey :)
the mascara doesn't look like it does something special... and yet its gonna cost a million bucks probably
It costs £14
Yeh I’m not impressed.... I’m going to stick to Lancôme monsieur big and Marc jacobs velvet noir.
Jessica Jones omg I have that one and I FREAKIN LOVE IT
This is not a video that make me want to buy any of the products...
Sofy Ali seems a lot for a mascara that makes your lashes look clumpy?? im going to stick to benefit roller lash i guess
finally a mascara
Love the Sandro top. I have the same one.
Aliki M where did you get it from?
This was bomb wow
i reaallyyy wish glossier sells their product in australia, like i’ve nene dying to get my hands on glossier but the shipping is sooo expensive plus the US price is cheaper, they literally add $12 AUS dollars to every product.
when i say sell, i mean like have a pop up store or something
That’s the conversation rate, the American dollar and the Australian dollar aren’t worth the same
Gorgeous :)
She needs some Wowder too :-)
You literally look like you could be Billy Bob Thornton's sister!
w p 💯💯💯💯
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Am I the only one unimpressed by the lidstars?
Carolyn Springman have only tried one in real life and I feel like they look beautiful on first application, especially if u layer it so it’s not translucent... but it doesn’t seem to wear amazingly and becomes a bit patchy
Rachel Barker I tried one of my friend’s and it seemed like a complete waste to me. I love the concept, it’s not well executed though.
i want the lash slick so badddddddd but i’m broke ugH 😭
kendall jenner in 10 years
Andy warhol
💉💉💉💉💉😕😕😕😕
We want Kim Johnsonnnnnn the Haloscope QUEEEEEEEEEEEN
Why does she kind of look like a man, but kind of looks like Kendal jenner?? *not being rude// not trying to be rude*
Though this was Kendal Jenner!!!!!
how can a beauty director be so bad at makeup lmao
Early ish

(also it may be expensive for America, but it’s mostly the same price as drugstore makeup in NZ)
Please, stop promoting non cruelty free makeup brands, Glossier.
Is you a man
