You sway a bit and feel the tires hit a groove in the road as you settle in. Lights are off, you stare out the window into the night. As the miles pass and thoughts are wandering you start to drift off......
That does sound peaceful 👌🏼
I do the swaying thing to! Hahaha
Lol the accuracy tho 😂

My dad was a bus driver and shuttled between Spain and Antwerp (Belgium). As a 12 year old I spent a lot of time on the bus and loved every second of it. especially the night rides.

Lucky you, my anxiety would never let me sleep well on buses or trains, i always sit in the back to keep everyone in check, i trust no one, not even my reflection in the bus window lol
But, as a kid, being forced to take the bus every day for school was the norm for everyone, that's when i had a nice sleep on the bus (not great though, still paranoid about people, but less, since i also had friends around that balanced it out)
Takes me back to high school, riding those long bus rides back home from games… best sleep every!
my son loved going on those away trips for track. he love the trip to Washington DC for 8th grade graduation trip

There’s something so hypnotizing about these low humming sounds. I honestly believe they trigger memories of being safe in the womb. Better than any drug

Great sound. About 40 years ago I took a Greyhound from NYC to LA; it was quite an experience. What an amazing country we have.
I needed to sleep yesterday and I have both really bad insomnia and tics which often go hand in hand in preventing me from sleeping because of the restless feelings I get from both things but this did help so thank you for that I appreciate it

Now I hope that everyone can finally understand, why it is so hard for me as a busdriver not to fall asleep while driving 😂
As a high school student who takes the city bus, thank you but I would prefer if I went into a ditch.
But there’s also the gentle massage of the road and/or engine.

Last two nights in a row this helped me quickly slip away despite having a fever. Thanks so much!
Glad it helped! ❤️😴 Enjoy, relax and get well soon. 🤗
I had a lot of long distance travels on busses when i was a kid. for some reason i found this sounds so peaceful. I remember enjoying staying awake at night (couldn't sleep either) and just staring at the dark road at the sides, and imagining a figure jumping trees and following the travel. Peaceful moments i have in my memory for some reason... i'm also high af rn. Thank you for this video!
Thank you for sharing your memories. ❤️😴
Literally got the "cozy chills" from this
Finnaly somone understands what i mean
Facts definitely felt one while relaxing
Literally the best environment for me to read in is a busy bus. There's just enough stimulus from outside I feel to counteract if that makes sense
i love this it remembers me of back then when i was 10... my father worked a lot so he couldnt come with me and my mother into vacation and couldnt drive us we live in germany but a big part of my mothers side still lives in croatia so me and my mother always used the bus to travel.
i live on the country side so we needed to take the train into the nearest city to get to the bus station. Its always so exiting, packed my stuff way to early at the morning couldnt sleep the night before and then it finaly is time to go got a big hug from my dad then we walked to the trainstation while my father was waving (we would take vacation together but not that year). the train was fun but its always the same places i saw. then we arrive at the city we always went to get a little snak at the trainstation bakery i always took the chocolate filled croisants and my mother took a coffe
a bit later in the evening our bus came with an big engine the driver put our luggage into the storage and i wanted to help he complementet me that i was so strong :D inside the bus there where those overly confy fabric seats with cupholders and those cool feetrests that are loose i always played that i would drive and pushed the feetrest like a pedal down every time the bus acclerates and i alwas had my little plush dog with me sitting on the cupholderplate, i loved that plush puppy so much. when i was sleepy my mother let me lay down on her bag she had layed on top of her legs so i had it confy, sometimes i put my head against the window but the vibration tickled too much in the ears
when i got used to the tickeling it wasnt that bad and so interesting to see all the colors of the citys and highways i never realy see on the country side while the sun slowly goes down and the bus interior light dimmed~ sometimes it felt like a space ship all this relaxed so much with the engine noise and rumbling like in the video i slept so good with this
some times the driver needed a rest so the mikrofone cracked a bit not anoyingly but somehow relaxing then he startet to talk calmy not to wake the sleeping people with a dark but lovely voice "pet minuta pausa" it translates to five minutes pause the first thing i realy could understand in croatian and told my mother that he said five minutes pause on croatian i felt so proud and my mother did that mother thing that she would be so surprised of me :)
then we got outside so she could smoke a cigaret and i was kinda sleepy and out of the warm bus i stood in that gasstation bus resting area it was such a mild wonderful summer night. it was cold but not unpleasant i still shaked a bit but felt so good anyway. i was just scared that we would miss the busdriver when he enters the bus again (i know the bus driver waits but my 10 year old self always was scared about that) thats why i always took my plush puppy with me outside so he wont get lost and be scared to be alone (i cant remember where i put my little Medo i miss him :( i hope i find him one day again somewhere in my old stuff because of all the memories we had)
we needed to drive throuh austria and slovenia to get to our location there are mountains and many tunnels those are so relaxing to drive throuh too and then there are the borders where police men got on the bus to check the papers i was exited and showed my papers by my self (mother showed both of our papers by herself normaly). i loved the borders sometimes we needed to get off the bus so they can search stuff and there is a border that isnt in use anymore but its.. i think part of slovenia theres a lighted castle of some kind on a mountain part. in the dark it looked like it floated~ i watched a lot of studio gibli animes that time so i imaged it was laputa haha
and finaly the part where we get into croatia all the signs start to be on croatian until we got to the bus station in zagreb it startet to get morning the sun rises and we drove with my aunt to our little farm far away from civilisation where my entire family waited on the entry way with chicken sound in the background and our guard dog that was so happy to see me. still a bit dark outside my grandma made fresh eggs with bacon and such a good tasting chokolat milk with fresh milk while the crickets chirped outside, the smell of real countryside with wheatfields and that unbelievable good feeling of a 10 year old carefree kid in a world that was perfect
i wish so much i could re life this day again like i was 10...
Danke!

This video takes me back to my Greyhound bus ride from downtown Los Angeles, back up to San Jose, during the summer of 2018.
It was a peaceful night ride, after a fun, memorable week and a half spent in LA. The bus ride was as relaxing, and nearly as long, as this video.
Thank you for making this video.
America is a driving culture and a driving society. Nearly every one of us have baby memories of being in a car at some point and I think that resonates with people so much. This is why I never drive at night. The sound of being in the car and going down the road reminds me of being a little kid and taking long drives with my mom and dad, falling asleep in the back or just starring out the window.
This reminds me when i was in germany at night and seeing all the colorful street lights through the bus window while drifted into sleep
Thank you for sharing such a vivid memory. ❤️ Wishing you a good rest and sweet dreams. ❤️😴
This was the most comfortable 8 hrs drive in my life.

Holy cow, this knocked me right out ^^"
Last time I was on a late night bus trip was during a college trip to Paris, with my art class. I can not put to words how peaceful it was, to be sitting in an unusually quiet bus ride. Passing road lights and the moon gleamed down, being my only sources of light, apart from the few who had their little overhead lights, to read a book maybe. I chose not to sleep during that trip, because for once in my life, I felt so at peace.

I hope it doesn't get you to sleep while driving buddy
❤this. Takes me back to my high school days after a Friday night game. Also used to take church trips out of state and this was the sound after everyone calmed down, ❤❤❤❤.
To be honest, I'm so scared to close my eyes and allow myself to relax. Due to some, no, a lot of things happening in my life these days, I cannot sleep without crying. But this sound helps me a lot because it reminds me of the nice sleep I got on the late-night bus I used to take. It was a rare peaceful time since no one cared or knew about me, so I could forget about myself, about all my tragic events, and enjoy the total silence in my mind.
Sorry to hear this. I hope you find peace soon
Peace be with you. You may not feel it but I am holding your hand and wishing you the very best
I’m sorry, we know about you now, and you are important ❤
Hope you're okay now, luv. Don't give up ❤
Sometimes, people resort to making themselves think of tragic things. The truth is, we all experience tragic things, and the thing is that you need to remember all the good things, remember that you matter, remember there is one life and god gave it to us, and we mustn’t let him down.
Why is it with sleeping on a bus on a dodgy seat turn out to be the best kind of sleeps? the though just make me happy and warm.

Sleeping at the back of bus at night with lights off
I traveled on a Bus like this to freedom, the sounds are hope to me, peace
One year of no one cared
Year two of nobody cares
Im addicted to that sound, and I fell asleep on it every night. Someone said that he thanks that there is no bumbs 😁 but I think thats one of the parts that makes it special. And that also makes you fall asleep.
I agree. The sound is fine but I need to feel the motion, the road in order to enjoy it fully.
it’s perfect. the sound is consistent not too many conflicting sounds. dim screen and it’s long so it doesn’t have to switch to another video.
I love taking long bus rides at night, especially in those modern ones with dim blue lights embedded in the aisle... I remember a school trip all the way from Poland to UK on a bus and it was best trip of my life so far.
Remembering the time when I was sitting with 20+ young boys on our way to Basic Training. That bus ride from the airport to base was one of the most intense feeling rides ever.
Glad there's no bumps on the road !!
Starts shaking violently
this absolutely nails down the sound of my half hour bus drive from one end of my Island to the other, and it just exstends it and makes it better by there not being anny chattering, ngl, sometimes i put on my headphones and just churn up some of this to get the pleashure and the peace all at once
We're glad you like it. ❤
The best sleep I ever had was definitely on a charter bus though my neck was hurting from not having a pillow or 2. Especially traveling 15 hours from NC to New Orleans back in July 2018 for a conference with my college and from NC to New York back in April 2008 with my Middle School.

The bus around you is quiet - your fellow students and the chaperones, all going on the art trip for that year, have dropped off to sleep one-by-one leaving you the last awake. You look out of the window to your right, seeing nothing but the darkness, illuminated by a little bit of moonlight. You look to your left, and see your (boyfriend/girlfriend) curled up against you, sleeping peacefully with (his/her) head buried in your neck and their soft breaths reaching your ear. Your own thoughts slow down as you start to drift off, and the last conscious thought you have before you fall asleep is spent on thinking of the fun you'll have with your friends in the city...
