thank you! A page view will simply track the page, but the "lead" will label this specific conversion as a "lead signup", ie. someone signing up to your list to become a lead

Using a web tool that takes snippets of code and edits the page for you is not a "manual" installation. A manual installation is platform agnostic. These instructions are specific to your website host.

Inside Events manager, you should switch from personal account to business manager account, then you will see all options available.
