I don't get the PP obsession, they're all bad. Dostasis Vida might compare favourably to Einea Vida but who ever used Einea Vida after Arga, Belta and Sheza came out? And besides the potency Dostasis Vida is sacrificing 7 PP, 1% damage resistance and an additional 20% freeze resistance for 5 HP compared to Einea ABS. That's not "fine", it's a purple Einea.
Well, it pretty heavily depends on your class, but also the bonus from armor can occasionally mean one or two extra photon arts from a full meter. I’m not actually good at the game, but it matters when I use JB or TMG because their special attacks generally just give me a full PP bar, so I actually get more out of it. If you have a class that always has to use normals to regen PP, I imagine your max doesn’t actually matter. I’m not sure, but I think with enough max PP, TMG can get away with never actually having to normal attack ever.
its somewhat class/encounter-dependent, but with the way damage scaling works, your overall dps will significantly decrease if you can run out of pp during breaks/downs. This can be avoided by either having enough PP or by sacrificing a smaller amount of dps by using more pp efficient skill rotations during normal phases. Although the later option is a lot more mentally fatiguing to do properly.
I guess it's a good thing I only used one Augment Transfer Pass right now, since it really does look like Dostasis doesn't bring anything to the table that really makes me say "Oh, I really want to switch over from my Einea Armor now!". With my remaining 2 Einea Units still being BiS, I'm only looking at a 0.7% Potency increase per unit, which honestly isn't worth the hassle right now. I really hope the next upgrade will be better and soon, because for now I feel like it's better to just keep my Augment Transfer Passes for later. Highstira Domina I'll probably at least be able to use, so that's something I can consider. If I switch from Highkvar Domina to Highstira on my Units, I'll lose 18 PP. But since I'm still going to be over 200 PP and with Techter having that nice little update, I can deal with it. For the casuals however, they might want to reconsider if they prefer to keep the PP. Sometimes it's best to just keep a nice balance. So.... now that we have all High Dominas up, who's going to bet that all 4 High Dominas are going to be combined into something else in the future? I wouldn't be surprised, but it would be weird if it's something like Highhalphinale (Since we have Lux Halphinale).
went with full HP because I think +120 HP will make more of a difference than +12 PP As a glass cannon Fighter, this could potentially help me take a hit and my PP regen is already good
The second upgrade(to a 11 star) will raise the pp properly. They only gave you half since this is a minor upgrade stage. Obviously 11 star upgrade comming soon. I believe we will get a 3rd upgrade in mid December. Moving it to 12 star. Stia dominia is obviously for weapons. If I were you guys, I'd save them. Obviously there's gonna be a halphia domina or something. Or ultra domina 😂 Edit: For those who seen my original post. I was thinking about the weapons when I wrote this. But it also applies to the armors. 10 star will be upgraded to 11 star in the 2nd upgrade. Which will give us the other choices of like shaza, belta, etc etc stats. I believe we will get a 3rd upgrade as well, giving us a 12 star armor. It seems like they are following the end game gear path that base pso2 took. The next big update is in December. So the 3rd upgrade will probably be then.

It says "1". Meaning that a "2" material is coming. I believe that the 2nd upgrade will require a lot of 1's to exchange for 2's or something like that. A big grind, like usual. Those new grinders are dropping more now. So this tells me, we will need thousands for the 2nd upgrade. I believe there will be a 3rd upgrade as well. They seem to be following what they did in base pso2.

They made a killing off base pso2 micro transactions. So they really leaned into it for ngs. If you noticed, there's waaaay more content in the lootbox than in the actual game smh. They have consistently been releasing it weekly. The personal spaces have more content in them 😆 🤣 Honestly, I think pso3 is about to come out soon. They're just using ngs to fund it. I think ngs was just a sub game to hold us off till pso3. They didn't put effort into it. Lame combat zones and empty fields is pretty much ngs. This game had soooo much potential. People on jp servers say episodes 1 - 3 were a slow burn. But it got better after that.
I guess the vio can kinda offset the lack off pp of the new stira domina augment. And 1 dmg resistance for each unit offsets the negative dmg resistance you get from the aug as well.
Sega might of did that do to potency being at 6.0,its probably intentional to balance it out from being overspammed.but thats just a guess. Idk if ima upgrade because its not really that much better then the original armor.
I couldn't agree more! I was VERY disappointed by the VERY low PP. Better off going with the hybrid version. I'm hopeful that they fix this or make it better. VERY sad, SEGAC. VERY sad.
Unpopular opinion - Dostasis Vio is beneficial from a BiS perspective - because we have Highstira Domina now people with BiS gear will switch out Highkvar Domina for Highstira, and we will lose 18 pp. So getting back 12 pp from Vio helps in a way. Also if you play Bo and ARKs Rankings you want all the PP you can get.
@@asamisatopso2ngs That's not how that accounting works haha. Dostasis Vio is not a gain of PP if the armor you were using before it gives more than 4. Which most non-handout armors added to the game in the last 2 years did, and almost all of those were NOT PP-only armors. Einea ABS for instance added 7 and that was with HP and damage resist on top. This armor has been the standard for over half a year, so a new all-in PP armor that sacrifices all the HP and damage resist to LOSE 12 PP across three pieces is crazy.
I’m good with my octo Sheza armor 😂 I care more about being able to do most of the content like having a high enough BP, not the to much of a stats person. I’m definitely gonna get the Selio weapon though, looks interesting to use.
Regarding the gold prim armors to 90 just like your yesterday's prim sword enhancements, is it alright to upgrade without N-enhancement items but sacrificing few mesetas? I calculated like about 10+ pcs of 100% N enhancements just to hit level 73.1 and those 100% items feels limiting to deplete (i have 6 left btw) But there's another workaround to limit break gold prim armors to count: x1 for level 80 prim armor and x2 for level 90 prim armor, before doing the same 90 level enhancements method. Since there are no Event sales from the NPC for 90 limit Gold prim armors, just a heads up. Also another another note: SAVE your 100% N-enhancements for upgrading your armors too! Just regular upgrade your Ektasis armor at least 65+ level and use your 90 Gold prim armor along with 100% N-enhancement will guaranteed to Level 90! My apologies for numerous re-editing I forgot to add few stuffs mentioning.
Erm... What the Segma? edit: +4 PP is crazy, they probably plan to release an insane version with barely any downside at Jan-Feb update. Or if done earlier, something of more like a +1 from this one. I highly suggest for low-active players to just save; and wait for new armor sets after the lvl 100 cap update.
I bought Einea Argas before the new ones came out. +35 HP +7 PP, 5.5 potency, +1 Dmg resist, +20% freeze resist. Uhm. What? Like the new armors should be +40, +8, +6% potency for the balanced one. Why these low stats? Did someone set those numbers without looking at the armors that came before?

You should compare it with the regular and vida/vio ones, because the ABS variant is sacrificing one of the potency stats for those comfort stats.

Everyone has their opinion. I can respect it. If you don’t like their videos, stop watching or make your own. Humans get things wrong all the time, everyday. There is no perfect TH-camr. I hate farming and barely do it, but I have almost 600 of them.. be sure to take advantage of tri boosts and other rdr boosts. Farm efficiency as well by focusing on mobs and ignore bosses.
I'm not surprised about the PP deflation (heh). Literally none of my characters, and I play every class except Braver reliably (Bow is too weak for me and Katana isn't my style), have any kind of PP management issues. Partizan Hunter is probably the worst for PP that I play, but even that doesn't matter because Partizan probably has the best normal attacks combo in the game (barring possibly the Techter...that's a tough one). Sega seems to be trying to do some kind of balancing, and since PP reduction is one of the easiest ways to reduce long-term potency without making big damage numbers smaller, it feels less bad for the average player who isn't paying that much attention to resource management. This PP thing also supports my prediction that we'll be getting the NGS equivalent for an "Ultimate" difficulty soon. My primary reason for saying that originally was the fact that we are up to 95 now, and I expect 100 to be the final cap, but with individual class upgrades that are permanent (similar to GAS from Phantasy Star Universe).
Honestly new augment: terrible having a dominia augment for some reason now - damage resistance is really dumb in my opinion especially since all 3 of the previous dominia augs had nothing to do with DR. Was hp, pp, or both so why the heck is the “high” version of this augment giving negative effects? We’re almost level 100 now I thought we were don’t with that crap. Like not even some stats and -DR just potency floor potency and DR that would toooootaly mess up my stats if I put that on. The new armors: absolute trash 😆 I’m sorry but .5 potency while everyone may be like “ohhh but it adds up” It’s just not worth it if you’re using Einea arga. I’m not about to lose 3.0 DR from replacing my armors with the new garbage. If they come out with an arga eventually I’ll think about it. But I may just pull a Kero and keep Einea till the next armors drop. Like how you kept octo till Ekstasis came out. Overall just really disappointed with this system and upgrading. Wish they woulda just left it how it was cuz this is terrible. I liked winguard/ Flugel being best in slot. It’s from the harder type quests (originally I know they added drop places for it later) the way there going with gearing is just an absolute mess.
all highdoms had the same stat spread more or less of the original dominas, but improved ael domina 5 hp 3 pp -> highael 10 hp 4 pp ret domina 15 hp -> highret 30 hp kvar domina 5 pp -> highkvar 6 pp stira domina -2% dmg resist -> highstira -1% dmg resist (both having higher potency)

At first you had to spend like 6 hours at mediola outer area 1 but that grinder gets dropped by enemies in the new neusen plant sector that someone I know only spent an hour grinding and was able to upgrade 2 units and was close to being able to upgrade their third unit
I’m skipping the upgrades it’s not worth the time and cost so i will miss out on the tasks not that I’m miss in much like always I’ll think about the weapon upgrades maybe when we have a enhancement campaign for are gear but until then I don’t care about this crap. but I would like you kero to teach people who can’t PSE burst in Dex so they will stop ruining my MESETA and peoples MESETA farming runs because god damn are there to mine people who don’t know how to pse in dex even when you till them what to do they still screw up the PSE bars so man bring out the teach in board out again please i run into them to much for it to be just a few people here and there it’s most of my runs and rooms i switch to it’s annoying and ridiculous so please man teach these people so they will stop screw up everyone’s farming runs

Which most non-handout armors added to the game in the last 2 years did, and almost all of those were NOT PP-only armors. Einea ABS for instance added 7 and that was with HP and damage resist on top. This armor has been the standard for over half a year, so a new all-in PP armor that sacrifices all the HP and damage resist to LOSE 12 PP across three pieces is crazy.
I just went for health, I grind enough that if the abs armor drops I still have a slot and armor for it

I’m good with my octo Sheza armor 😂 I care more about being able to do most of the content like having a high enough BP, not the to much of a stats person. I’m definitely gonna get the Selio weapon though, looks interesting to use.

Regarding the gold prim armors to 90 just like your yesterday's prim sword enhancements, is it alright to upgrade without N-enhancement items but sacrificing few mesetas? I calculated like about 10+ pcs of 100% N enhancements just to hit level 73.1 and those 100% items feels limiting to deplete (i have 6 left btw)
But there's another workaround to limit break gold prim armors to count: x1 for level 80 prim armor and x2 for level 90 prim armor, before doing the same 90 level enhancements method. Since there are no Event sales from the NPC for 90 limit Gold prim armors, just a heads up.
Also another another note: SAVE your 100% N-enhancements for upgrading your armors too! Just regular upgrade your Ektasis armor at least 65+ level and use your 90 Gold prim armor along with 100% N-enhancement will guaranteed to Level 90!

edit: +4 PP is crazy, they probably plan to release an insane version with barely any downside at Jan-Feb update. Or if done earlier, something of more like a +1 from this one. I highly suggest for low-active players to just save; and wait for new armor sets after the lvl 100 cap update.

I bought Einea Argas before the new ones came out. +35 HP +7 PP, 5.5 potency, +1 Dmg resist, +20% freeze resist. Uhm. What? Like the new armors should be +40, +8, +6% potency for the balanced one. Why these low stats? Did someone set those numbers without looking at the armors that came before?
You should compare it with the regular and vida/vio ones, because the ABS variant is sacrificing one of the potency stats for those comfort stats.

it's always been, more or less, 5 hp equals 1 pp as a general rule/ratio. i've no idea why they suddenly changed it.

Once again they f’ed up. Kero, again, never assume anything with SEGA until the content is dropped. They have shown many times they don’t stay consistent to their own metrics. I got 3 Vida’s, the Vio’s got screwed.

Everyone has their opinion. I can respect it. If you don’t like their videos, stop watching or make your own. Humans get things wrong all the time, everyday. There is no perfect TH-camr. I hate farming and barely do it, but I have almost 600 of them.. be sure to take advantage of tri boosts and other rdr boosts. Farm efficiency as well by focusing on mobs and ignore bosses.

I'm not surprised about the PP deflation (heh). Literally none of my characters, and I play every class except Braver reliably (Bow is too weak for me and Katana isn't my style), have any kind of PP management issues. Partizan Hunter is probably the worst for PP that I play, but even that doesn't matter because Partizan probably has the best normal attacks combo in the game (barring possibly the Techter...that's a tough one). Sega seems to be trying to do some kind of balancing, and since PP reduction is one of the easiest ways to reduce long-term potency without making big damage numbers smaller, it feels less bad for the average player who isn't paying that much attention to resource management. This PP thing also supports my prediction that we'll be getting the NGS equivalent for an "Ultimate" difficulty soon. My primary reason for saying that originally was the fact that we are up to 95 now, and I expect 100 to be the final cap, but with individual class upgrades that are permanent (similar to GAS from Phantasy Star Universe).

Honestly new augment: terrible having a dominia augment for some reason now - damage resistance is really dumb in my opinion especially since all 3 of the previous dominia augs had nothing to do with DR. Was hp, pp, or both so why the heck is the “high” version of this augment giving negative effects? We’re almost level 100 now I thought we were don’t with that crap. Like not even some stats and -DR just potency floor potency and DR that would toooootaly mess up my stats if I put that on.
The new armors: absolute trash 😆 I’m sorry but .5 potency while everyone may be like “ohhh but it adds up”
It’s just not worth it if you’re using Einea arga. I’m not about to lose 3.0 DR from replacing my armors with the new garbage. If they come out with an arga eventually I’ll think about it. But I may just pull a Kero and keep Einea till the next armors drop. Like how you kept octo till Ekstasis came out.
Overall just really disappointed with this system and upgrading. Wish they woulda just left it how it was cuz this is terrible. I liked winguard/ Flugel being best in slot. It’s from the harder type quests (originally I know they added drop places for it later) the way there going with gearing is just an absolute mess.
all highdoms had the same stat spread more or less of the original dominas, but improved
ael domina 5 hp 3 pp -> highael 10 hp 4 pp
ret domina 15 hp -> highret 30 hp
kvar domina 5 pp -> highkvar 6 pp
stira domina -2% dmg resist -> highstira -1% dmg resist (both having higher potency)

At first you had to spend like 6 hours at mediola outer area 1 but that grinder gets dropped by enemies in the new neusen plant sector that someone I know only spent an hour grinding and was able to upgrade 2 units and was close to being able to upgrade their third unit

I’m skipping the upgrades it’s not worth the time and cost so i will miss out on the tasks not that I’m miss in much like always I’ll think about the weapon upgrades maybe when we have a enhancement campaign for are gear but until then I don’t care about this crap. but I would like you kero to teach people who can’t PSE burst in Dex so they will stop ruining my MESETA and peoples MESETA farming runs because god damn are there to mine people who don’t know how to pse in dex even when you till them what to do they still screw up the PSE bars so man bring out the teach in board out again please i run into them to much for it to be just a few people here and there it’s most of my runs and rooms i switch to it’s annoying and ridiculous so please man teach these people so they will stop screw up everyone’s farming runs
