I actually think "How to dismantle an atomic bomb" is easily their third best album, and, in my very personal opinion, their only one that doesn't fall flat by the end. I mean, it's Bono's personal journey from beginning to end. It ends with a hit single about being drunk and seeing a rosary around a girl's neck and ends with a song of praise.
It makes me think of taking off on a plane seeing your city from the air and how beautiful and lucky you are to live there but fun fact this video was filmed in my hometown my parents were at this video shoot I was born 2 years later
I remember when I was 3 in 2009 my dad played I will follow on the tv I asked what band is this he said u2 that stuck with me I used to dress as bono on Halloween and At home and pretend to be him with zootv live in Sydney playing behind me on the tv my parents were there at the making of this video! Larry's drumming and Adam's bass are just outstanding in this song. That driving sound hits at such an energetic pace. It's U2 magic.
