Great show..You two make a great team tandem. Love Ducharme's line [Of the year?] about not wanting to redshirt because she didn't want to be as old as Geno when she left U-Conn. Prob be laughing all day about that one

Great point about not putting too much stress on Azzi as I initially was thinking about her looking to score more (bad idea on my part). Having said that I would still love to see Azzi start getting her shooting rhythm as that is important for us overall.

KK should keep coming off the bench she is doing great plus help keeps her out of foul problems

Without Paige, K.K. and Kaitlyn can alternate being PG and SG, so each can do their own offensive things. That will perhaps be the most interesting thing I'll watch. Second would be how well Jana continues improving her offensive play.

If Paige is out a week, they will be fine. She always bounces back pretty good after injuries. If anything, it will give her a mid season rest a la Clingan a year ago for the men.
Ice Brady is portal material. She won’t be back next year.

    Kaitlin should shine today.

Saw the replay... seems like the other player kind threw her body onto Paige... not with the intent to injure her, but definitely attacking her body. It was a dangerous decision and should have been a flagrant.

They are skilled and smart enough to be temporarily ok. They’re not playing a top program. Chen in my opinion isn’t all that. Shade and KK is key

If that is what say about Chen; you think the coach would still be starting her? Chen is doing exactly wjhat is needed buy the coach and tram.

Be interesting since the last Geno pressor that Paige won't be around trying to "run the show". There has been suspicion that "coach" Bueckers has had some influence on practice and games which was quantified by the segment in Geno's pressor where he says "he doesn't have to keep looking over her shoulder to see her changing plays" ..paraphrasing of course. I still have a feeling that the first half of the USC when they fell so far behind was from Bueckers changing the plays as Geno had stated " They (the team) didn't do anything they had practiced but once they did in the 2nd half they were great" Why did the team differ? Between that statement and Geno saying he doesn;t have to worry to look over his shoulder means because Paige is not in the game or practice...speaks volumes. THis is the downside to the social media where sunscribers and fans put a person on a psudo-pedestal of belief that they believe is true but far from the truth... specially when they step out of social media and into the real world.
My guess they will be fine... as long as they follow a coach of 40years whom has won more games than any NCAA men or women's coach and 11 championships.

It's not just UConn, but the WNBA, that had a giant sigh of relief. Paige Bueckers will be a huge draw, just like Caitlin Clark, for the WNBA. If the WNBA wants to escape from the backwater to the bigtime, they need CC & CC II to draw lots more fans and sponsors. And continue flying players charter. Ha!
