They have cardigan, jumper (sweater), and vest options. They are made of Scottish wool and are very warm.
Are they itchy? I’ve heard different things about the cardigan and jumpers. I’m a hufflepuff and really want to buy a quidditch jumper and their v neck cardigan
@@mikecapalungan well I usually wear it over a white dress shirt and so it doesn't come in contact with my skin much, but it doesn't feel itchy just warm.
k001daddy yah besides wearing this as a Halloween costume, I’m planning to wear it in the winter months over a t shirt, long sleeve, or button down. I know they are on the official website for lock haven, but are the ones they have on the universal website the same ones?

k001daddy lock haven is the brand that created the cardigans, v necks, and other jumpers for the movies. So on the universal website and in the parks themselves all those jumpers are the screen play accurate sweaters created for the movie by the brand lock haven.
I have my Ravenclaw outfit, wife has her Hufflepuff outfit. Complete cosplay outfit with robe, tie, jumper, etc. We also have winter gear (scarf, knit cap, gloves). The robes from Universal are not hot and breathe well, so they can be worn in late spring/early fall. However summer in Orlando is just a few degrees cooler than the surface of the sun.
Love the cap and gloves! I might want to get some of those next!

I have a Slytherin robe and scarf! 💚 I love them both! I think your right at the color because mine is a darker/vibrant green. (Idk that made sense) I wear mine more I thought I was going to. It holds up really well.
Totally makes sense! The definitely changed the color! Kinda annoying cuz now I want the new one lol!
BTW, the robes feel AMAZING! When the wind picks them up and they feel flow-y and just magical!

Personally the robes are freaking amazing!! I’m a ravenclaw and currently saving up to get my house robe with the tie and everything but I currently have the gryffindor robe to cosplay hermione and may I say I’m genuinely impressed with how universal made the robes in such great quality
I recently went to the HP store and once I tried on my house robe it felt so luxurious. Not sure why people don’t see them as worth it, plus you can get your name personalized on it for free! 💖 and helloooo, wand pocket! ✨
After you mentioned about the inside of the Slytherin robe i started looking through photos from the movies and saw the same fabric on all of the robes color linings for every house
If you're going for something cheaper than Universal, I think Spirit Halloween has all of the options Universal does- I have the full Ravenclaw outfit: cardigan ($35), tie ($15, I think), robe ("one size fits most" deluxe, $50: only difference that makes it "deluxe" is keeping the house color lining the hood, I think), but no scarf! (may eventually get one- they're $27 there) I know it's not the real Wizarding World stuff, but it's good enough- and you can get the entire *uniform* there for not too much more than the WW robe alone!
I bought my Gryffindor robe at Universal, years ago (2014?) and wear it every time I go and wore it for a Halloween party last year. It still looks brand new, so they are good quality. I also got a wool Gryffindor House cardigan and have worn it for lots of different occasions including a trip to Scotland. The only issue with the cardigan is it is developing small holes because it is made of 100% wool. The next purchase I want is a Quidditch jumper, but they are over $100 also.

I’m a Hufflepuff and I own my house robe, it was a gift so that was nice, I do wish it was an xs though because I’m short. But I t’s okay because it looks authentic when I wear it 😊

I just got a Ravenclaw robe from the universal studios website and I got a XXL. I’m 6’1” and it fits perfectly. I also had a Universal Studios robe on back order from Amazon. It was a “Adult” size. Amazon never gave the actual size. I was afraid it might be too small on me and I thought it might be my only option until I found them at the Universal Studios website. I requested and was granted a cancellation from my Amazon robe. $90 on Amazon and about $130 on the Universal Studios website. I choose the one that was more expensive because I felt that even though it was more expensive and the same robe (except maybe the size), it would probably fit me better.
I bought the entire Slytherin outfit at Universal. The robe is well made, and so is the rest of the school outfit. I can’t look at the Party City robes without seeing how poorly they’re made. Well worth the money for the legit robes, imo.
I own the cardigan and I wear it regularly with normal outfits and its cute because its not something thats overly harry potter. If you see it on someone you wouldn’t know it’s Harry Potter unless you know. But anyways my point is if you like being covered or you get cold easily, its worth the money I think.

Yeah, the robes were gorgeous in person at the WWOHP in Orlando back in 2021 . However, did they change them since this video? Like, the claspe part is thicker now, the colors seem brighter, and the material feels more thickish and heavylike. 🤔
Only positive about living in the UK is the authentic Harry Potter shops using the real materials that was used in the films :)
Could you go into detail about the differences in the fabric between the old and the new robes? I knew there was a difference, and I thought I was going crazy. I lost my old Hufflepuff robe and I'd give nearly anything to get a new one--one of the older original ones like the one I had!

I love the robe! I got myself a Gryffindor robe from warner bros studio tour! Just feeling so magical when I wear it. But is it normal that They get some wrinkles? Is there anyway to iron the robe or something?

Among my Christmas Haul I was given the Primark Cosmetics bag that has a velvety constellation on it and a large Deathly Hallows Logo, so every month I want to buy one item of Harry Potter themed makeup to put inside, this month it'll be the gold wand brushes by Storybook Cosmetics.

One day I got soooooo mad because when I was younger I went to Universal Studios with my “rich friend” *before I was a Potter-head* and her parents bought us interactive wands and a robe... but since we didn’t rlly know much about Harry Potter or the Wizarding World we just got random robes, back then my fav color was red and so I got the Gryffindor robe *I was 12 and didn’t know much about HP* and my friend got the Ravenclaw Robe. we where both muggles and we weren’t interested in HP nor the Wizarding World or anything. and so we didn’t rlly know that the Robe colors meant your House. and then a year later I find out that u were able watch HP for free on Peacock and after I watched it I immediately fell in love with all the books and the movies and so after I realized that I was a Slytherin and I had a Gryffindor Robe I was sooooo mad because I cant afford a $125 robe and I wanted to own the original one. Or at-least a nice quality one. And so for my 15th b-day my parents surprised me with a Trip to the Warner Bros studio tour and I bought the $125 Slytherin Gift Trunk from “Platform 9 3/4” and now I own an Original Slytherin Robe and full uniform costume set from Universal Studios 😆⚡️

I would LOVE one of these even tho i already am completely ready for hogwarts with my entire uniform but my Ravenclaw rope isn’t this good quality but i still like it bc it is flowy but could have been bought in one size bigger and it would be perfect. Btw what is your house Victoria?

I've been trying to find out all about the robes and there is very little info out there regarding the fit and quality. Thank you. There are second hand ones online and on eBay, but they are very expensive.
Honestly tho, for that price i think they should’ve made them with a better/ more detailed patch but im probably gonna buy one still
i tots see it it not just the inside green liner the outter black robe is more texture an faded looking in color compare to the other robes they deffinitly changed the fabrics since 2010 when it open compare to robes now wow idk i kinda like the look better than the new one looks more real idk how elss too put that.

I have a robe sent from Wizarding World. I have a question. Have a look at your robes to see if the stitching is bit bunched around the hood. Are yours a bit bunched? I don’t like the quality of the stitching. I feel a bit annoyed. Too expensive to send back overseas. Message me I can show you a picture. It looks gathered around label and hood . The seam sticks out from the top of the hood and I don’t feel it sits properly because the stitching is too gathered. Are all the robes like that?

About $300. I bought the robe, vest, tie, and wand and it was just under that amount, and that was without the scarf.

i got robes when i was around 8, now they are way to small and the bottom of them only go down to above my knees 😭
I have all four robes also. But they're knockoffs. But they do look pretty good compared the official ones.

I don’t remember seeing the white top at universal. I just use a regular old collared button up that you can find anywhere!

As someone who is 5'6 1/2, what size do you think is best for me if I want it right above my ankles?
The robes are 4'6 in length except the large and extra large which are 4'7 so you can measure how far that is from shoulder to foot.
