Give Jaylen his flowers. Almost like the first GSW chip where all eyes were on Curry despite a poor performance and even having Iggy take the FMVP. Quite frankly, it was a closer effort between Tatum and Jrue than it was witb Brown taking FMVP over Tatum.
Tatum will have this hanging over him until he gets his own FMVP. He will get his flowers, but he's gotta show up as the unconvincing leader of the team and not shoot at a low percentage. If Luka and Kyrie did their thing (Kyrie especially), we would singing a different tune.
Kudos to Tatum who really held himself together not to go for the lazy step back & side step 3s after holding the ball too long........but of course, they did not face the type of defense like the full strength Miami Heat throughout this playoffs. So they still have work to do.
