As a die hard player of G Era I felt like this with Ahsha and I very much can’t wait to try the Gavrail deck in English. As this and Ahsha are the only decks I really loved from G Era. Thank you for the insight and for giving another deck to finally look forward to that can get me back into standard.

even though i do like gav, nociel was the angel that got me into clan

As a big big AnF fan, looking at the growth of this clan being stronger and stronger makes me so happy and exciting. Although AnF decks before Malkuth Melekh had a really hard time, it‘s still fun with their own mechanics, just lack of something compared to other decks. Now Gavrail the girl is back and become one of the meta of the game, this make me so happy and exciting what will happen to AnF in the future game🥰
Very good video, thanks for sharing. Gavrail was a deck I had to take seriously with both Aqua Force and Granblue back in G Era.

I loved that wholesome recap of your experience with the clan at the beginning and I especially loved how goofy you were while playtesting lol, I just kept randomly tuning in and paying more attention to suddenly just hear "esports" or "gaming" lmaoooo
Relate so much with the first part. I never bothered with Angels pre-G, but it's now one of my favorite clans. Gavrail's aesthetic (along with her crew) just bought me in so much.
Plus, I loved the playstyle from early G (the power pump), but what really made me love it, gameplay-wise, is the multi-attack + trigger check chaining that Rescue brought us.

Well said DifferentFight. In my perspective, what I truly like about Vangaurd is how analytical it becomes with particular decks, even angel feather. I originally did not find angel feather to my appeal but it still looked fun every time I got whopped by my friend. The analysis with the combos and the trigger system and so many other gimmicks make Vangaurd so fun. I may be a protagonist simp (since I use Aichi Royal Paladin, Shinemon Genesis, and Chrono Gear Chronicle) but I love facing against other clans with unique gimmicks that just blow my mind away. That is why I am going to try and build a v-series Blau deck since not only because I always wanted to play Blau ever since I was introduced into Vangaurd, I find it fun to do multi-attacks. This comment may feel like a rant, but all I want to do is express myself and what I believe is fun. Also DF, your Rin Hashima and Gavrail collection is truly incredible.

Yeah, I absolutely love my The X gameplay, It feels as I am playing The Rebirth but well, it's way too tailored for the end tho.
@@morph4977 you have to remember, the ability to COPY any overlord skill is already very good, basically 'toolboxing' any overlord you can play, it's just that the best card to use cross with is the end, being tailored for the end at least makes the end playable now

0:21 I saw that mat when I was searching for Gavrail merch
I really was hoping for a more defensive build similar to early G, but I'll live. I didn't like the rescue check playstyle much because I felt what really made it good was being strong on your opponent's turn. I'm used to bushi not giving me the angels I want, though...(still waiting on kiriel)
Also, I wasn't a huge fan of a lot of the art this wave for the Gavrail cards (Nociel looks ok, not great though). Some of the generic support is nice though.
Either way I'll play the deck, I'm happy angels are finally good again in standard as my favorite clan.
And I'll be trying to brainstorm other builds since there's some support for Zerachiel in there too
Always loved Angel feather Style of using Damage as a back up resource and a power Source i.e Armen and Zerachiel . My main build was pretty much around Armen cause he's so cool and simple Skill . Also loved Gavrial Rescue style and now Malukk Melek .
you have the exactly the same relationship with angels as me.
celestials just seemed so slow (i like to do big flashy plays) but gavrails whole "do you like power." side to angels is just really cool. also rin=best girl

Toyo’s Gavrail decklist is actually brilliant. People are buying out Zayin but it does nothing for your winning image which is giant Hamiel.
Nociel engine lets you get an extra damage if your opponent keeps you at 2.
16 Crit is so you never heal out of 3 open CB.
4 Abdiel because it’s an easy 17k booster (turns Hamiel to 44k + 10k from Gavrail)

I was actually expecting them to retain the power-up passive while giving her an Eden skill instead of what they did. It would have been great if they did what you said with the CB1 call 2, and make Seraph Nociel do what her stride version does in RC and swap field and damage after battle.
Even if the Gavrail boost were +2k per damage zone hit instead of the +10k, it would have been strong, and it would have been so fun, especially if Angels got a Harut clone that Nociel can call to chain further.
On the bright side, I find it nice that the "Rescue" now plusses. Afaik only Salaphiel and Zophiel do "plus-less" Rescues because the other units add the CB'd card to your hand or call it to the field, something I would have loved for G-angels back then because their early game's pretty bad.
Yeah it would've given gavrail a good time against Accel. Would've been nice
What game was that u are using to play? I have never been the biggest fan of area and untap is beginning to feel clunky but that looks perfect!

I recently joined back into the game after a 5 year hiatus, and angel feather instantly became my favorite clan, the sad thing is, I cant afford playsets of zerachiel, malkuth melekh, and I just wish gavrail will be cheap though I know it wont be, I have looked at budget options like metatron and ergodiel. I just dont know what to do. Are there any cheaper clans with a similar play style?
How about playing Nociel, who is also in this set? She's made to be a budget variant to Angels and the deck is REALLY good too, I'll be covering it soon so you can see if it fits you!

I feel exactly the same way about the Fenrir deck, a lot of shit has been talked and the cards look pretty weak and I have had so much fun play testing a deck that actually has plays.

What is this game where can I download it???
There is no official program but tabletop simulator has mats for vanguard but you need to add your own decks to it. There is an app called vanguard zero that is a more simple version of vanguard and is a good introduction into the physical game

Not gonna lie, I would love that the deck could multiattack instead of just guard restrict go brrrr. I mean, the deck feels strong and flavorful BUT it feels as interactive as DOTX so no interaction at all. Nociel makes so if you give a damage, you get to three damage and then the only interaction for you as opponent is just wishing they don't check 2/3 critical triggers.
Absolutely agree, but I'm just glad it still retains the feeling of rescue spam at least

might just be me, but I kept hearing people say AqF Standard (and premium) isn't making any tops. right now in stuff like vision Gurguit was 5 spots in top 8, and some tournaments Gurguit + Gavrail was 50% of all participating decks. in the results I saw, there were more Harri's and Fenrir's than anything AqF tbh
