    Troy, you need to learn from Collin Abroadcast for bargaining skills

    • @84jordie
      @84jordie 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      They see Colin, the prices start a lot higher. It's called White Man Tax, they drop the price alot hoping they will buy bulk.
      When they see local, the prices start lower, so it's harder to press for bigger bargain, and they sorta know you won't buy a lot cause they can just come back anytime.

    Vietnam probably #1 in quality textiles. If your Nike/Adidas/Rebok etc is Vietnamese made the quality is generally much better than Chinese or other made. Also suits and dresses (tailored etc) is generally the best. =You can get a tailor made online wedding dress for $200-300 that is exceptional.

    It's debatable whether to hand out money to poor or support small bizz - from time to time, it's better to do the latter bc at least these vendors are working and making a living. Maybe try buying durian next time? I never got chance to eat street durian - was intimidated : (

    I can understand the interest in fake high end brands but I can't imagine interest in fake UA, Adidas, Nike, etc when those brands are dirt cheap already. I also know if I ever get a chance to visit Vietnam, I will know to leave any designer outfits at home as most people would assume it's all fake given the dominant counterfeit markets here.

    If you go to SAIGON SQUARE or BEN THANH market you will overpay for everything you buy. Troy you have to be a good bargainer to shop in those markets.
    Peace of mind, buy in shopping center where the price is marked.
    Good luck Troy

    Lots of different ways to recognize knock-off, most notably craftsmanship (stitches, logo's, material quality, overall quality), tags, labels, prices, where and how they're sold...prices are big one. Combine that with the fact that most knock-offs are made in Asia, I think you know what you bought.

  • @HENRY69.69
