Someone already mentioned to cut up the packaging to use on your journal. And I totally agree that the packaging is so pretty to just not keep and could be used in your journal. Take the pretty packaging with the pretty images and use it in your journal. If not that, maybe use it as a gift tag: the other side should be blank/white so use that to write down the gift recipient; maybe even use the sticker gift tag, paste said sticker on the blank side, use a single-hole punch, and a ribbon to tie the tag on the gift. I could even see the paper with the hole in the middle that was inside one of the ink packaging as a frame for a picture or image in your memory keeping journal. Also, it could also be used as a gift tag (like the previous one: have another similar-sized paper to be the base and use said base as the to/from to write on and/or an image and use the blank back as the to/from form; punch a hole and use a ribbon, etc. to out it all together). Just some suggestions if you like to reuse the ink packaging. All the ink colors are so pretty and I can see them all be used, but I think the brown ink (the coffee one) would.be the one I'll be using the most out of this batch. TFS! 🎄
I think those extra threads are how they assembled the pen - where the little gold ring is and where the finial on the back end is are probably screwed together. They just made separate parts and assembled them. They might be glued or you might be able to unscrew them.
I love stub nibs! I find 1.1 stubs too big for my writing but I have had nibs grind down to a fine cursive italic and that is a “sharper” stub and I love it!
It’s so hard not to purchase for yourself with all the great deals. Watching ink swatches and pens is so relaxing I would love to see more I’m living vicariously through you lol 🙂🎄
Blushing mushroom and tea party are my favorite. The advent calendar 🎄 for the original vs virtuo are different! I decided to look today lol. I don’t like the look of the last fountain pen because it’s clear plastic (?) however, I thought it wrote the best. Glad you’re feeling better!

Liam is so precious looking sleepy in the early morning. 😴❤ I love the rose gold shimmer in these ink colors. They look like flower petals when you used the paintbrush to swatch them on the paper. 😍 The packaging is absolutely stunning with the iridescent illustrations on it.
