hi, is it possible to parent wave wrap effect to the object? Let's say the effect is already applied and it's moving the way I want, but I just want the object to be connected to the layer with wave wrap, but this object shouldn't have wave warp effect.

Yes you can! you just have to keyframe to keyframe the speed on the wave warp effect to go from whatever speed you choose to 0 once it hirs 0 it will stop

I'd love to learn how to loop this animation. You have commented about using the looping expression, but I have no idea where or how. I also can't seem to figure it out anywhere that I have searched online

yeah you can loop the wave warp by using this expression " loopOut(cycle) " after you animate and you can also adjust the wave speed if you go to the effect properties you will find a speed you can adjust that to your liking

nice work!! Also, I have a question when I make this wave warp effect, it starts to show this jagged edge, both on the shape layer and png layer, does anyone know how to fix that? Thank you! (try to change the color depth but not working)

@@FLOWTUTS Hey thx for the reply! Some say maybe the comp size is too big, but I kinda have a solution here, I use Gaussian blur and change the alpha curve and it turns out looks fine haha! Thanks again!
