I stopped watching soaps a long time ago. But always Loved the Marlena and John love story. How many times did they marry? And did they leave the show or are they still working for DOOL??
Hey there! They still are on and going strong! The actors were fired in late 2008 after budget cuts but were asked to return in 2011. She's been on non-stop since, he was "benched" for some time after that as one headwriter team didn't exactly like J&M to put it mildly. And he also had a sick leave of six months at one point. If you've got nothing better to do and want to catch up with them or just rewatch old J&M stories, come join the rest of us on Facebook in a group called John and Marlena Tribe and we'll point you to the clips :) They've had a handful of weddings lol.. ♦ 1986 with him as Roman back then ♦ 1999 a big ceremony ♦ 2002 a vow renewal with just the two of them ♦ 2006 a small ceremony with just the two of them in Italy, ♦ 2009 a cheap bedside wedding at the hospital to rush them off screen when the actors were fired ♦ 2018 first a big ceremony that got interrupted when she got shot, and then a more intimate one a few months later. And apparently there was an off-screen wedding at some point in 2012 but that was never shown nor ever mentioned really thanks to a writers change.
When is the dream sequence at the beginning from? I know the original clip but what is the scene of him dreaming it and waking up? I'd love to watch that.
I lost my Lumi clip collection a couple years ago when my external hard drive broke.. I do have full 2017 eps, but if I made a Lumi tage, I'd want to use older material in it as well.. So unfortunately I have to say no.
Alive. The show had episodes filmed through October or so before the pandemic shut down the production. I doubt Mar/Deidre or John/Drake will be back filming due to their ages until this pandemic is under control one way or another, so they'll probably stay on screen for two more months or so. If you want to tune in again, the next week will apparently have some good J&M material.
