I am refining the formatting of these vids to make them better. This one in particular went on a bit longer than I wanted so you may see more condensed guides in the future. Not sure if you guys prefer me rambling about these moves a bit (like in this vid) or if you just want a more straight to the point approach. Intro: 0:00 Super Beginner: 1:20 Beginner: 6:06 Intermediate: 12:12 Combos: 18:13
I think format is fine, but probably split advance + combo and beginner + intermediate into two videos. Just an idea, having them combined is fine too. Also think giving people quick reminder of "here's your [easiest] sweep combo" "here's your [easiest] antiair combo" etc is good just to show people how they look like regardless of how important they are. Some people look at guides to see if they would like to play, rather then how to play, so things like that are good for them to make their decision. I would also not focus on just corner comboes, and especially not SSBA-corner-comboes, since you have to be "few bad exchanges/pokes away from death" AND "somehow the more skilled player and corner them" AND "they need to be impatient," to do them SSBA corner comboes (one SSBA corner-combo is plenty IMO), and the damage is only relevant if you're in that terrible comback situation. I dont know how applicable it is for all guides, but to give an example of what I think combo section should be for zeta specifically you can show: here's how you can convert some basic pokes into comboes (you kind of showed), here's a midscreen combo (50meter ult arvess combo), here's a midscreen combo for people who like to zone you (75meter beam combo), here's a corner combo (non-SBA), here's your corner-carry combo, here's your air-to-air combo, here's safe jump stuff you can do (which you did kind of show in video), etc. I also think its fine to include more fake/cute stuff like how zeta can air-SBA into people's anti-airs, you can just have it as a section on cute stuff people can do with the character since a beginner guide will be read by people of all ranks/skill levels, and something is only fake when people know how to perfectly counter it (otherwise it's just free rank up for people who know it). Especially if you ever do guides on ABel or Anre, people dont even know what the hell those characters do normally, much less what's fake or not fake. Getting back to the guide, I also think in the case Zeta specifically, IMO she cares more for Ult based comboes over SBA comboes. Not that you'd never do SBA based comboes, just feels like SBA is more situational with her given how good ALL her ultimate moves are, but thats just my opinion. Sure the SBA comboes do more damage, but they cost 100 meter (even with improved meter gain that takes more time to charge up then 50/75 and you dont get refund), while you can do two 50 meter Ult comboes and basically get leathal damage on some of the characters and also have good frames if you mess it up (or use them as bait). Of course nobody will say no to just doing a guranteed SBA or lethal damage SBA, since removing their RS stocks is never bad.
@felix_xb Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep it in mind. I probably won't go as in depth as you said here just because the way I approach these guides is to actually avoid combos for the most part as I want new players to focus on playing the actual game rather than trying to get a specific conversion or combo in the lab. That being said you are right that some of the conversions I mentioned I didn't show properly and you are also right I probably should show other easy combos other than the SSBA combo. Your feedback helps a lot and I'll definitely try to make some changes moving forward.
Thank you for this I just started playing this game and wanted to pick up and learn Zeta but have not been able to find anything on her for Rising. I played GBVS but never really took it serious it was just another fighting game to mess around with. I really want to get into this Rising but I am super rusty with fighting games.
No problem more to come. I'm going to try to put out a lot of other content for returning or beginner players because it seems a lot of poeple are in the same situation as you.
A video easy to understand and very well explained. Zeta is one of my favorite characters, and this video will surely help me a lot to improve with her. Excellent content!
Yo I was actually set to learn Zeta and I had to rely on trying to learn by watching matches at 0'50 speed and just copying what I saw while pausing and playing over and over lol. This will make it so so much easier and efficient, thanks a ton again!
Feel free to make requests, and working on more right now! Subbing does help. Trying to get monetized so I can re-invest what I earn into the channel. I hope to make better quality content for you guys.
Thank you, I wanted to try this character after playing Djeeta for a while. But I got really stumped by how to make Zeta work. I was getting frustrated with a lack of resources on this outside of replays. So thanks a lot.
top tier or not, she is 10 times fun to play against rather than seox, lance or Nier hell even Belz, and Bellial are such a pain in the a**, she has big dmg, good combos but I do not think she is cheap.

Best Zeta guide I’ve found for pure fighting game beginners! Ty
Thank you for this, no one is putting out Zeta guides cause she like top tier, but I'm out here STRUGGLING
Takes time, game is pretty balanced so don't worry about it.
