FYI, the video that was playing is the Movie "Beat Street." That wasn't the video for Five Minutes Of Funk. That version of the song is missing a verse as well. Classic song.
this is my type of music i came up on here miss this time the 80's the was a cool time this partying and clubing was so good here you would had great time i am a big of fan of whodini love this one.
I have a funny Daryl & Joe story: back in ‘96 me and bro were riding around Downtown Detroit bumping that and a dude pulled up on us asked if he could by it from him 😂. Man O Man….the days before reissues and Amazon 😂
Keep in mind AGANEE, that HIPHOP VIDEOS were NOT a THING like that back in the early 80's. They didn't really become a REGULAR WATCHING EXPERIENCE until around 1988. Before then, there were very few HIPHOP ARTISTS that had VIDEOS, because HIPHOP was STILL being side-eyed by the rest of the music world, ESPECIALLY the music business as being a FAD, so with MOST artists that you heard before 1986, you had to go see them perform LIVE if you were that curious about how they looked.
Wow!! So yall really had to be present & in the moment. I feel like my generation doesn’t have that advantage because of cell phones. Thanks for watching!!!🙏🏼
Good Reaction but tbh that wasn’t the original video and not the full song. The scenes were from the Classic Breakdance Movie Beat Street. I think this was fan made.
Nice channel 😁! If you want to quickly up your subs try: The Righteous Brothers- Unchained Melody, Elvis Presley- Hound Dog, Led Zeppelin- Stairway To Heaven, Tupac- Dear Mama, Player- Baby Come Back, The Beatles- Ticket To Ride, Chris Stapleton- Tennessee Whiskey, Michael Jackson- Remember The Time, The Carpenters- Rainy Days And Mondays, Janis Joplin- Maybe, Janet Jackson- Miss You Much (Extended Version), Bobby Brown- Every Little Step, Jimi Hendrix- Hey Joe, New Edition- Can You Stand The Rain, Simply Red- Holding Back The Years, Bell Biv DeVoe- Poison, Prince- When Doves Cry, Whitney Houston- I Will Always Love You, The Doobie Brothers- What A Fool Believes, Sir Mix A Lot- Baby Got Back and Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody.

You missed the other verse. Also….I don’t think this was an official video. It’s scenes from Beat Street over a small portion of the song.
This is the song Video Music Box uses for it's introduction
#CLASSIC 🔊
Thanks so much for watching!!🙏🏼
RIP John 'Ecstasy' Fletcher co-founder. Gone too early at the age of 56.

Straight classic 🔥🔥. One of the first tapes I bought 😂
The song was cut for some reason, it's longer than this
HALF THE SONG WAS CUT OFF, YOU DID NOT HEAR THE OTHER RAPPER ECSTASY
I didn’t even realize! A few people have messaged me to let me know. I gotta find better cuts! Thanks for watching anyway!🙏🏼
