For anyone confused, here's the context: The first guy is C-Note, part of an escape plan with Michael. The second black man used to work for C-Note and some beef happened between the two of them resulting in C-Note beating him. He now wants revenge and tries to come to Michael's cell where C-Note presumably is to come kill him. The less you know Michael has made a tunnel behind his toilet for the escape but it's risky to use it in the day because of the guards and other inmates. Michael allows C-Note to use the tunnel to hide in it, in the middle of the day to prevent him from dying He then gives the punchline and C-Note can live.
