I love Block Constructed, it's awesome to get to see so many new cards and exciting strategies that don't get used in standard. Prognostic Sphinx is just one great example.
Awesome! I had a hunch that Prog Sphinx would be excellent post-rotation. As we see here, it's definitely great in Block, but I'm excited to see how much play it'll see in the future :D
Could Rashad at least watch the game he is commenting on? Even when he is paying attention he is just reciting what he sees without any real contribution.
Around 34:26 I think Mana Confluence was the wrong line of play. With Forest from hand he could've threatened Monsterizing Polukranos for 5 and taken out a Sphynx quite possibly.
It was a mistake for Reid to play the Courser in game 3 instead of using the silence the believers on Pat’s Boon satyr and Courser. The opposing courser generated too much card advantage and these grindy formats are all about card advantage. The slick 2 for 1 is a way to pull back to parity on the draw which is why Pat took it with the Thoughtseize on the following turn.
I can't deal with one of the commentators. He has a slightly deeper voice but still manages to sound feminine. But the worst part and it's when I quit watching, "Here's uh Elspeth." Do you interview people before you let them commentate?
sdub86 I also said the worst part was his grammar. He's a poor commentator, and it's almost purely because he doesn't grasp English well enough to be commentating. Richard Hagon doesn't make mistakes like that.
Coming back in time from 2024 to enjoy some goodnold pro tour tsble top magic

These are two of my all time most favorite magic players.
To make it even better is that ried duke is also the last person to join the hall of fame
That's some masterful playing by Chapin.

Rashad Miller needs to learn the names of cards

Wow. Main deck psychic intrusion. What blue-black balls!!!
Blue Black BALLS
Reid Duke kept the Fleecemane Lion after Patrick scooped in the 2nd game.
yah he did
He handed it back to Chapin during the live look-in while they were sideboarding.
UwU
Oh, Reid Duke shuffled that Fleecemane Lion!
I just don't like Rashad. "I think he uh... banishing lighted the uh... Domri Rade..." THIS IS FREAKING BLOCK CONSTRUCTED!!!!
"Scry for 9 is............. pretty good." He just makes me laugh!
"And a second courser for Reid Duke." "Yea now he's gaining two LAND off of every land drop."

@@patrickbuerke1390 ah, I see you’re also feeling the ye old block pts
This is a good game
Haha, Reid's Ashiok had it out for Brimaz.
Game one how did he kill the fleece mane? Wasn't it hex proof?
Reid played a second Silence the Believers, in response to the monstrous activation, before the lion becomes hexproof.
MrCheesy10211 okay thank you for clarifying
@@THATxDYSLEXICxKID You are welcome
why is Tony Hawk playing magic?
may i ask when 8:18 ,the lion already monstro why still will died?
because he killed it in response to the monstrosity trigger, so that the spell kills it before the monstrosity activates

I think Rashad is fine. "She's the reason there's an entire page of soldier tokens in the feature match area" is actually pretty interesting!
whats so bad about sounding feminine?
You can't deal with someone that sounds feminine? Sounds like a personal problem.

Rich Hagon and Marshall Sutcliffe are exceptionally good - I certainly can't argue with that!
It's Naya you twats, "Red Green Elspeth" is ludicrous.
