Saint Pablo is one of the most beautiful songs Kanye has ever made and produced. Not only is it emotionally raw and honest, lyrically, he’s able to connect the themes of family, love, self hatred, god and enlightenment that entangled all of TLOP’s songs together neatly with this masterpiece.
Would be a major shame a truly once in a lifetime artist and unique character who knows if we’ll ever see someone like him again his influence is unmatched
Kanye is the greatest artist of all time and everything he has ever done shows it. When you got people praising you at the end of your legacy when you were divisive in your lifetime, you know you’ve achieved greatness. This song is gonna be one of many of those that people will come back to and they’ll then realize the genius of Kanye west. Thank you for making this slowed and reverb, the ending hits even deeper and Kanye rapping never felt more factual 🙌👌
When this song hits 5 minutes I don’t think anyone can top the vibe that is given along with the words said. When you add melody to it... smh Kanye is the goat
For some reason walking through space goes well with this, especially when the high pitched sounds and horns come in. Kinda makes me think of someone giving up on mainstream society or Dr. Manhattan giving up on Earth.
this could've easily been Kanye's last song and he would go down as one of the GOATS to ever do it. haha but we still dealing with his goofy ass who doesn't wanna drop music lol.
bruh nah ur trippin, we wouldn’t have gotten ye or kids see ghosts. the only wack thing he’s dropped is JIK lol. kids see ghosts was lowkey ye at his peak
JIK ain’t wack however! Not as good as Yandhi but Ye chose to spread the Gospel. And as everything Kanye does you will see the impact (this time spiritually) in the upcoming 10 to 15 years! I remember when I was loving Yeezus and everyone thought it was his worst project. You have to see or understand the vision. 🤝
@@posthumankid no it’s not that, i respect him spreading the gospel and shi. i was actually looking forward to an album sounding like that. just personally sounded incomplete asf both on the production and writing side. wouldn’t mind another album in that lane if he executes it well tho. all subjective
YES!! When you listen to Ye's whole solo discography in one go you realise how TLOP is the cornerstone of his work and his magnum opus ! (i did a full marathon a few months after TLOP was released and I realised aaaaaall the refs and signatures of differents Kanye's eras present in TLOP, it's crazy)
@@posthumankid yeah I kinda did the same with just chipping away at ye albums and I enjoyed the TLOP the most by far, it might be the way he raps it might be the sound but I preferred it to MBDTF. Granted I never thought MBDTF was a 10/10 album that everyone makes out to be
This instrumental is perfection to me at least…just wow, and adding Sympha to this was the best choice imo (maybe Giveon would fit but I believe Sampha is a better fit for this type of song). Kanye knows how to make good music. A genius!
Fuck yea, subscribe’d First heard the original during a... rather interesting time in my life and this mix hits all those emotional beats perfectly. It’s like how I remember it being when I first heard TLOP
Most rap music is so ugly. With its incessant use of the n word and sex language and violent inferences. Most rappers act like they've got a chronic problem with society, always breaking the law, sexing women, and speaking badly of their own kind... this song is genius... the tonal harmony, the lyrics, the use of sound effects, and the pace... songs like this are very rare... no one else except Rhys Fulber of Conjure One, and Neil Halstead of Slowdive have such a strong command of Tonal harmony... playing this on piano and synths is unbelievably gorgeous... not as strong as Beethoven, but very very profound... I don't know whether he samples Schumann or Beethoven but Kanye's use of harmony and chords sets him apart from all his contemporaries... Tupac was a genius but he seldom wrote his own songs... Modern rap is one of the most hateful, sinful, evil, destructive, and malicious art forms in modern media... I genuinely believe it ruins kids live listening to men like Eminem, Dr Dre, Eazy E, The Notorious BIG, Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown... I feel sorry for Kanye... he has a genuine message and talent yet all his brothers give his genre a horrid reputation... I don't own a single rap album but I own 80000 others... this album I would consider buying....

Beautifully said.
I feel like Kanye’s biggest fear is he won’t see his legacy play out once he’s gone.

Kanye said he doesn't care about his legacy
Regardless of your opinion on him, Kanye is easily a one of a kind talent and person.
As he said himself. "My only regret is that i'll never be able to see myself perform."
