Cracking clip! I know I have left A Lot of Negative comments in the past and some justified! But will eat humble pie and appreciate he has a number of people relying on him plus his expertise to keep them in employment. So wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year.
Nah! He's knowledgeable, but still fleeces naive sellers and sells british history to America. His eyes say it all. I find the antique items fascinating, but can't stand watching him act like he's doing them a huge favour. That's how dealers are. 🙄
Out of that comes the gas for the van, the hotel if they stay over night, the wages for the people at his warehouse, food for Enzo, any fees for restoration, cost of shipping items to purchasers, rent for warehouse, etc. Antiques are not a cheap business.
I think a lot of his clients are in America - they want old country house stuff - and people in the trade of interior design etc. he's done it all from nothing. Good on him and his wife and team. Sadly split up though in 2017
What a bloody beautiful place. I think I saw it in a magazine before. Anyway, taking note for next time when we go to England.
Very nice videos. It is so interesting to see some English antique and vintage stuff. Love the auctions.

Neat pieces. The last shop owner they said was from America but he sounded really British.
I like this show. I wish I could find some way to watch the series but have had no luck.
Jim Northland go to questod and you can watch them
@@chrismanville6642 - Thanks but questod just says "not available in your region" when I try to open a video.
It's all over TH-cam Mr. Northland..... CMJ
Wow, profit heaven for Drew
when I was young these places were known as "junk shops" Antique shops were more refined and stuck to the 100 year rule.
5:16 if you got the original cast you could make the bronze 100 years after the sculpture's death.
I have a suspicion that Alastair doesn’t own a doghouse.
Does Tea own any trousers?
"it does literally tick every box". Couldn't make it up!
❤❤❤
I like Drew, but I think I’ll pay the retail price. The shop lists it for £285 and he wants to resell it for £700... 😶

Why can't he just pay the listed price on the statue if he's already nearly tripling the money's he's paid? He always has to squeeze for more.
Dealer - that is what he is paid to do. Sometimes he looses money especially when he is restoring.

I would never visit HIS shop. His profit margins are too high.

David Brent.
People buying junk to sit around then get sold again as junk to someone else to sit around....not for me.
