Update two years later. Still using this upgraded version of the E4K. This is such a good light, I use it mostly indoors and I am constantly laying it down and temporally losing it.
Super awesome video beautiful flashlight I love the engineering and I love the style looking at it the machine and finishing looks excellent I love the button it's big you could feel it when you're walking at night nice big on and off button for the UI excellent video thank you for sharing it I'm going to put it on my wish list 🏆👍🏆
Just watched your review of this light. Just bought it. Glad they fixed the UI. My first Nitecore. Never had to use spacers before in a light. Never heard of that. Where would I buy some of those? Thanks
@@MrBazReviews this little thing is crazy! 🤣 Stupid bright omg for the size lol. Your video showed the thing was bright but I forgot videos don’t really do flashlights 🔦 brightness justice I love it. Had to buy a new charger for the longer cells. Went with Xtar. Is that a good choice?
@@MrBazReviews what charger would you recommend for the 21700 cells? I don’t want a dumb smart charger (if that makes any sense). Mine are all too small. Don’t support 21700
I had the first version and lost it. A couple of days ago (15 Nov 2022) found this upgraded version on sale at batteryjunction for $60 US, ordered one, showed in stock when ordered, now on back order, not expected to be back in stock until Mid Dec 2022. If you can find these at this price its a good deal.
Seems to me that there is still a general shortage of goods, and it's not just electronic items. Even soap seems to be out of stock on Amazon! Battery Junction, have some really good prices at times. For $60 that is well worth it, a steal. The Fitorch I just did a video on they sell for $39 with the battery, a bargain the cell would cost half that, no question worth 39 of anyone's money. I assume they are reliable, they seem to stock quite a bit
@@MrBazReviews I have purchased from batteryjunction many times, mostly batteries. But chargers and flashlights also. They have always been dependable. Amazon has at least 23 listings for the E4K, I wonder if the storage on batteryjunction has something to do with the price.
@@TopDog8762 Hard to say I just see them pop up often on web searches. (battery junction), even in Europe. Then again prices in Europe suck compared to the USA on all goods! Mind you I don't spend much on lighting products these days for obvious reasons! (I do have to put work in though!) I still have not found exactly what I am looking for, believe it or not
@@Pritam043 The upgraded two step switch is a huge improvement. l really like the beam profile. But it gets very hot very quickly in turbo. Overall I am very happy with it.
I used early Seeker versions but not the pro. The custom battery on the Olight's for me wipe out any interest in them at all (as I have a lot of batteries). Power is similar the Olight has a choice of LED's, have a look at the specs and see what works for you. E4K is pretty good (with the new UI I think it's much better v the first version)
Don't like the upgrade. Can't accidentally turn on the original unless I'm leaning on it. I'm use to the original modes. I have strobe programmed to 3 clicks and prefer it that way. 1/2 click for low? Prefer the double click. I may pick up the upgraded to see if it compares in a positive way. Would prefer if they upgraded to a magnetic tail.
To me this feels better, I can't stand the "turn off to change levels", that drove me crazy. Yes it's not perfect, maybe some might like the old UI, for me it was a big put off.
just when i get used to the UI they change it... no matter, i think ill stick with the original.. double click for moonlight, long press for memory, and triple click for turbo as short as it is.

I like the size and it's pretty powerful if you need that, not a bad mode at all,

Thank you very much! It's quite good if you want that compact size/battery combo. The UI is now in my view much better
Nice updates
Yes worthwhile update I think, much better UI v the original

Spacers try Ebay or Aliexpress, plenty around there. I find the UI better, not everyone agrees, but I found the first UI to be not very intuitive
@@MrBazReviews thank you. I'm sure I'll get used to the UI.

How would this compare to the seeker 4 pro?

Which is best ....
Fenix
Nitecore
Etc etc ...
I take each one on it's own pros/cons, I can't say one brand is best - both do interesting and sometimes less exciting products
The difficult part about it looking exactly the same, it's hard to get upgraded version online
Depends how old their stock is you can always message the seller to ask. They updated it over a year ago now

You can get used to anything, however for me I was never a fan of that UI. this isn't perfect, but for most it will probably be better
