As a Control/Trap pilot specifically, allow me to share some fun cards you can potentially add depending on your build/strategy. For fellow MD players, I'll also add the rarity. MAIN DECK * Temple of Anubis (SR): Allows you to use one trap per turn the same turn its set. Similar in effect to the furniture but if you're not running an Ikea setup, this can help facilitate plays quickly. * Loris, Lady of Lament (SR): Can recycle up to six of your traps that are either in grave or banished and place them back into the deck in any order you wish. You also get one card for every three recycled. She can also potentially set a normal trap from grave if either A) A monster is tributes while she's out or B) a Normal Trap is sent to your grave via effect, again while she's out. While she's not that amazing in her home theme, she's exceedingly useful for Lab players, and running her at one isn't a terrible idea. * Performapal Five-Rainbow Magician (SR): This has to be put into one of the Pendulum spots and is very situational. However it has two good effects that hit field wide, so both players are affected...depending on how many set cards either has. If they/you have zero, their/your monsters can't attack or activate effects. If they/you have four (so a full backrow plus Magician in your case) the ATK of all your monsters doubles. This puts even Arianna at 3200. Definitely a rare card to successfully use, but funny as hell when you do. Also yes, if you're running Lord of the Heavenly Prison, this makes him 6k. I've had a full playset get boosted and got a scoop from my very wise opponent before I could go for the face punch. * Non Aggression Area (R): This can only be activated during your standby. Discard a card and if this resolves, your opponent can't summon or set monsters on their next turn. Oh and this is a Normal Trap so Lovely can just keep resetting this. You want a Tear player to cry? Resolve Dimensional Barrier on their turn, then follow with this...while resetting the barrier. * Jelly Cannon (R): If a monster declares an attack, you can shuffle one monster into the deck. Great for placing problem cards back to where your opponent has to dig for them. Extra funny if used on an Extra deck monster because that means they wasted material for nothing. * Doble Passe (R): If your opponent declares an attack on one of your monsters, you make it a direct attack instead, they proceed to take the damage of it, equal to the ATK of that monster and said monster can then hit THEM directly next turn. The lone caveat is your monster must also be in Attack position. Loris works well with this one due to her low 1500 Atk...making her excellent bait to pair with this one. EXTRA DECK Garura, Wings of Resonant Life (UR): If running either Dogmatika Punishment or the next card on the list you can send this to the grave to draw a card. Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II (UR): 3500 Punishment target. Plus, if it's sent to grave, it can then send any Tri-Type Extra deck card to grave right after it. This is often Garura, but Ferrijit can work too depending on your build. There's a ton of other potential evil options but that's a few I've toyed with. I encourage any fellow Trap kin to share any other fun or obscure things they've used or come across as well.
To add a few more: - Switcheroo (R): If both players has the same # of monsters, you switch all of them... Permanently... so you can swap Lovely & others for their boss monsters (With Big W & furniture you can modulate the # on the field) - Chain Hole & Gravedigger (Both SR): You will be interrupted when using your Welcome traps, to prevent you to set a trap from deck, so instead of Called by, these bad boys can solve that situation - Boo-Boo game (R): Backrow removal will become popular with Lady's arrival, so, how do you minimize the loses? Solemn Judgement? Sure, but isn't searchable right? Heavenly? Can be searched with Gallant Granite, but few plays Ariane or actually uses their extra deck aside of Extrav & Punishment... So, you can chain any trap, then use Lady's effect to set Boo-Boo game from deck... Only recovers normal traps, but might be enough to keep you in-game There's tons of others (Marella + Booby trap E, Lost winds, Metaverse, Red lotus), but this comment is long already, so... Good luck chasing those cards

As a Control player I need to not only know timings like the back of my hand, but I also have to be able to read my opponent to know what to play and when. I see Resonator Call? It's a Synchro deck and I'd better drop a Dimensonal Barrier. Or perhaps they summon a Tenyi Spirit. 90% chance it's Swordsoul, 10% it's pure. Either way, Barrier + Soul Drain can cover me for most effects. So I'll concede that my goal is to limit my opponent's plays, but no skill? Boy please, I have far more of that than you realize. Put some respect on my name when you're choking it out between sobs.
You can even pop cards turn 1 (Either turn btw) if you have the proper hand (Cooclock should be played at 2 at the very least, is too good)... Let me mention few card ideas I have aside of the classic half disruption, quarter floodgate, quarter Solemn: - Arianna + Brigadine: Sets the trap of your choice, so long as interruptions don't mess Lady's timing - Tour guide of the underworld: Summons Doomdog, who search for Lady... If you go for Cherubini route (Sending Graf for Cir) that can lead to Bardiche Shenanigans, who, gues what, can search for Brigandine (Can lead to 4 material Apollousa if you want... Or Isolde, but thats another story) - Paleozoic Marella: Can send ANY trap, including continuous ones (You know, those fun cards that everyone loves?), then, Lady sets "Booby trap E" and as mentioned in the video, if you have Cooclock (And a discard) then congrats, your Soul drain is live at command (While shufflers exist, Bystials made D.D Crow less popular, so your traps are safe) - Gravedigger trap hole & Chain hole: Deals with Ash Blossom, the main nemesis, as Lady was balanced with a cursed "When" on her set from deck effect... Sure, Called by is live more often, but the damage of not setting a card would be done - Psy frame Gamma: Using Big W cuts the restriction of fiends only, and will trade beautifully with Ash & Maxx C, specially if you use furniture to summon Lady, so congratz, now you can recover your cards from banish zone, or be protected againist backrow destruction (Or I.P... s real free state) - Appointer of the Red lotus: Can win games on the spot... knowledge is power, and what better way to deal with those pesky removal like Kaiju, Evenly, Lightning storm, Ash than banishing it? (Haven't checked if it's hit on MD, if it is just ignore) Personally I will win with Destiny board & Exodia (Archfiend Lab, level dmg resist, Sound the retreat) with Ikea Lab... So many wacky cards to be discovered (Bet burn players & Subterror will use Lady too, or even Tear since Sulliek is at 1 while Metanoise is unlimited... And is a lvl 8 for xyz plays)

Lady is basically just Normal Trap support. Pretty sure even just Imperm activations can special the thing out like Multifaker. And almost any Trap strategy welcomes a meat shield that can search other Trap cards.

Pluto is hilarious cause whenever you compulse or eradicator (to see their hand), you can just easily call any card and yoink an opponent's monster or spell/trap. 😂
I feel like furniture lab is going to be a lot stronger in Master duel than in the TCG. if people start to drop tear a lot more it's going to be in a lot better place as well since they won't have ishizu cards to mess with our resource loop. we can play a lot of hand traps as well to slow down any other deck while we get a resource loop with the furnitures. I've currently having a decent time with it on ladder and can't wait to get lady and big welcome so I don't need to play some of these other trap cards in multiples. I don't play floods other than eradicator/dimensional barrier.
They should definitely just add the S-Force link monster and the new Amazement cards. 3 extra cards that are needed. Forget whatever timeline they are on. A lot of decks need their new support just to last longer against Tear, Branded, etc. The more they wait the less viable these forgotten decks become.

Most of these are only good if you’re going first. That’s not always a guarantee. But the pendulum one is definitely hilarious if they can’t out it
