Great, great video. I almost cried. Seriously, it is great to see honest people working, isn't it? Only those who have seen a machine or process go down, then be brought back up by true professionals know what this video really means. Thanks.
according to the music and tone of the video, I honestly thought they couldn't save the spindle, and it died leaving behind a wife spindle a 2 baby spindles.
Nice facilities. Can you show how you opened the front bearing chuck nut. And how much torque you are using for tightening the chuck nut for loading the bearing.
We have a broken spindel x_x new one cost 45k but it would run with in 3 day. No they wanted repaired it took 5 months and cost 144k and the awesome part .... when they put it back in it started smoking xD Has nothing to do with setco but sometime new is cheaper than repair
Impressive process of a spindle reassembly. Now I can see, that, there are a lot of others companies, where is necessary to wear glasses, although there is no risk of harm or injure :-)
NOT featured in this video: - Annoying soundtrack - Crude humour - Loud, obnoxious people without acting skill trying to be "hip", funny or otherwise horrible. I really like it!
Also not featured was the process by which they performed the spindle repair. ... or did they execute the repair? (As in they killed it so they would not have to show a repair?) LOL
Oh Come On! It can't be that fucking dramatic! Then again, considering how much money he was losing maybe that look of being served divorce papers on the boss's face was justified.
the only thing new I got from the video is that Wahl thermometers are quality products so I probably should get one. As for other stuff, the video carries no useful information
Usually costs more and sometimes it has to be made for the machine and then testing and calibrating .... also good luck getting one for a old machine.... Place i worked at had someone crash a kitmura 4xi spindle into the table spindle was fine but the cassette ceramic bearings were busted... $80k for the pair... excluding the job to put it in
I'm a over 40 years old guy and I literally cried a little. This is beautiful.

You have to love the over-priced spindles on the overpriced machines.

Whenever there is 1 minute of drama. I know there is not much substance in it.
