Simple Sunday #26 - Five Item Crafting featuring Stampin' Up! Sentimental Park

Ooh, it's that time again! Another Simple Sunday is upon us.. back to a floral stamp set this time. Sentimental Park is a great stamp set and die bundle which allows layering up to your hearts content. While I have done something simple, because that’s what the series is about, the set has so many differing ways to build up card fronts and make pretty floral designs.
In this particular project, I wanted to show case a colour I don’t often use - which is a seriously bad habit of mine. Berry Burst is a lovely deep pink, purple which really suits the flower motif I selected. To get the two tones of colour, I used the ‘stamping off’ technique to differentiate between the flat colour and the outline.
This design may work even better with lighter colours, or pastel shades, as you’ll see in my Step Up Saturday next week. Make sure you tag me in any creations you make by sharing them on Instagram or Facebook!
SIMPLE SUNDAY RULES
- Five item crafting: The stamp set plus four items can be used to create the final project.
- A basic craft kit can be used alongside (clear blocks, scissors, trimmer, adhesive etc.)
- Only one colour, plus black can be included in the final project.
- All Simple Sundays must have the project contained on a white 3" x 3" matt, which is then layered onto a white card base.
