All I can think about while I'm watching this is how on Friends Joey made the mistake of saying that he wrote his own lines or changed his lines on the show and he was killed off from Days of Our Lives. So I can understand why Gabe is careful. (Not that I think they'll kill him off, because he's awesome.). I'm also sure he doesn't write his own lines, but every actor makes their character their own, puts their own spin on it.
