This week's vehicle spotlight, we check out Charlie's 2008 Mini Cooper on 17" Fifteen52 Turbomac wheels and BC Racing BR Series Coilovers. The wheel sizes are 17x8 with an offset of +30 both the front and the rear. The tires are Yokohama S.drive, sizes 205/40r17.

And mini's are a great platform for creativity. So much aftermarket. Especially interior. Its hard to beat a stanced hatchbatch with amazing wheels and dip/wrap/paint job

ill always love the mini cooper, my first car was an R53. i dont want the headache of owning one anymore but theyll always peak my interest haha. so sad to see its an auto, maybe if it was like the 2018 JWC auto (it operates like a sequential shifting on the handle!)

what is your bolt pattern. Arent minis 4x100. The turbomacs only go to 4x108 I thought

I have an R53 slammed on fifteen52 turbomacs that are the same dimensions and I tuck tire almost to the wheel in the rear

what's your tire and suspension setup? I'm doing my suspension in the spring. I've got Turbomacs on my r53 as well
Looking into getting some for mine, debating whether I need to get the +30 or +42 offset option. I’m in lowering springs so I’m not sure if it’d tuck or not

Does the mini look best running R17, R16 or R15 wheels? If you swapped R17 for R16 wheels then can you set the wheel diameter in the car settings somehow? so the speedo displays the correct speed for R16 wheels?
He is running 17's, there are ways to get the correct speed on your cluster but it involves a module and a little bit of work

I call bull shit in the 280hp, a stock n14 engine will blow at 265 hp unless he did some serious internal modifications he cannot be pushing that much.

That wing is clownish at best. I was laughing so hard I cried. Even the purpose built mini race cars do not have a parachute that big I mean a wing that big. No wait it is an anti theft device right? I mean who would want to steel a car with that on it. It screams I am a teenager living at home with my mom so I can pay off my rear wing. Howard Hughes called he needs the Spruce Goose wing back.
