Watching some of these made me realize that I really would like any future Red Dead games to feature an impaling mechanic. I’m pretty sure Far Cry 2 had a similar feature with falling but not dying where your extremities could be impaled/broken and you would have to pull the broken pipe out or pop the bone back in place, etc, and bandage it. Seeing some of these clips made me think how it could be a neat feature in certain death scenarios, i.e. falling off a cliff into a large bush with sturdy enough branches and them impaling the character. Maybe even riding a horse and falling off at the proper speed/angle could impale you but not kill you; you would need to wiggle it out or pry yourself off and get medical assistance, although that might be too tedious for such an open world game, an instant death might be preferred when getting impaled. I could see it being relatively unnecessary or a rare occasion sort of situation, but it would be one of those attention to detail features that Red Dead and Rockstar in general have come to be known for.

@@ibavider oh well whenever you die it takes a little bit of money from you (which I think is dumb) and depending on how much money you have, you could lose from 10 dollars to 5000 dollars and higher, but I don't think anyone is that rich in the game.
