The song is "Without Words", and even though we may view the story as the strength and connectedness in relationship between two human beings who communicate without words, I think this also works perfectly as a metaphor for the power that music can have, even in languages we do not understand. Most JESC viewers don't speak or understand German. And yet, even without understanding the specific words, we feel connected. It's beautiful.
At last Tom.........a song in Junior Eurovision that inspires me to leave a comment. Although i like some of the other entries which have been released so far, this is the one that stirs me on first listen. What a sweet girl and a sweet vocal. Ja Deutschland..... JA!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Here's the chorus, yes a great personal message: Ohne Worte, hab'n wir uns sofort verstanden Ohne Worte war, wie wir zueinanderfanden Ohne Worte, wie zwei Seel'nverwandte Ohne Worte, ohne Worte, ohne Without words, we understood each other at once Without words was how we found each other Without words, like two kindred spirits Without words, without words, without
My number 2! I loved this from the very first clip we were shown. Sign languages are one of my favourite forms of communication and it feels so natural to her. She has a similar final belt to Poland last year where I feel it comes a little too late in the song but I adore the message and melody
Its a really sweet song! I like the full thing more tha just from the demo, even if it is pretty simple overall. I think its great for a junior entry since the message can be so easily understood without looking up the lyrics. I totally agree with what you said about the sign language being organic, the song wouldn't feel complete without it
At first I was like : ok But now it hits different This HAS TO be the winner, I cannot see someone else to win I hope people will vote for Germany I think it can be the jury winner this year
I love their music, it reminds me of the OST of a Thai drama. I love that you also noticed that she's probably using sign language in that original music video.
@@romy340 I didn't remember that specific show, but it's sounds Modern Thailand Music for me. Also, they aired Thai dramas in my country on local TV stations (aside from Korean).
the full version ends up slightly better than I expect, but it's still a bit repetitive towards the end (I was hoping for a bit of dynamism towards the bridge and final iteration of the chorus). Also, the starting part with the piano sound kinda reminds me of "Survivor" by Helena Paparizou (Melodifestivalen 2014); I would think she was gonna sing that song if I didn't know the context.
This is more like a child bop and the choir with adults in the end say Ohne Worte in 4 languages. The last Eurovision song in german was from austria 2012 in bavarian-austrian
Can someone tell me what the sentence is, that Tom says right before every video starts? I like to think my english is good, but I have heard that a million times in different videos and just can't make out words. it's at 1:51 in this video
This is probably going to end up 12th place or close to it. Sweet, but a bit repetitive. Vocals aren't bad but far from the strongest. Will definitely end up behind France, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Armenia and Georgia. Maybe behind Poland or Ukraine as well.
with our current info, i think its above Poland and probably Ukraine too. I think the story is way stronger. I also think German kids might get more behind it cos she was in the Voice Kids But all can change with staging
My number 1. It's beautiful and is such an enjoyable video to watch, true for all ages and abilities. Gorgeous and such beautiful storytelling.

Fia is just so sweet, i‘ve been a fan of her since the voice kids

fia is amazing. Germany deserves a high place

This is becoming my favorite; I've even shared it with a few people who have no interest in Junior Eurovision!
Yea it’s lovely
Super cute song for Germany! 💞

Wait which drama in specific?

As a german: yep, got the message of the song absolutely correct
thats great how they got the imagery of it across so well. such a lovely entry

Yes, and we all know, where it ended up.
wow, that is way too long ago
@@ESCTom but denmark 2019 and georgia 2020 has one sentence in german
@@ohmaroh6606 and so has Germany 2021
@@in_wino_veritas where?

"Wanna know my secret, bang", its a way for me to know when the video is starting so i can sync the video clip

Germany deserves top 3
If you Look at all the Rankings shes always in the top 10 and some people even see her as the dark horse potential winner
