I always make sure I key the motion receiver. Most people just run jet sweep. I have never ran into a player that runs fake jet dive to setup jet sweep. So I would always watch motion man. I gave up a TD last night in my online dyn in cfp semis and didn't play motion and I cost me six. Thankfully I won by a TD. It always cost me though and i immediately was kicking myself.

You can break Madden by changing your slower LBs into RE and LE dependent on which side they play. Example LOLB -> LE, ROLB->RE, MLB -> DT. Then fill your OLB roles in with FS’ and your MLB role with a SS. Move your fastest DB to FS. Move your best tackling DB to SS. At corner fill it in with your tallest DBs. Then use the 5-2 defense, or goal line defense and rush a minimum of 5 players on every play making sure to use press man blitz plays as much as possible, the EA animations and AI will have an aneurysm on every pass play.
Try the Dollar defense, the LBs play the outsides better in that formation. The drawback is it leaves you open for a run up the middle, so you need to remember the formation your opponent uses the sweep in. Anything else he picks you know to use your regular defense for.

Dumb question but how do you keep a defender where you put him when you click off (pre-snap)?
Would love to know this too. idk if its formation or play dependent but sometimes my guys stick and sometimes they go back after I switch off

The overtop/inside/outside/underneath hot route. The underneath makes the outside CBs as hard flats. One change for both CBs.

Cover 4 quarters press the secondary and put the corners in flats to contain. This should work.
