I always liked this board the most out of any game in the series. It's exciting to see close and high-scoring games on this board. There are two automatic coin events that pay for the chests, so everyone has a good shot as long as their skill is in check. And even if you do get the bomb-omb, it gives you a chance to make easy money since you only paid 10 coins to go back to Start. That doesn't even account for the mini games you can win. In concept, it sounds like a disastrous board. But it surprisingly rewards skill for what is perceived as a luck gimmick, and I like it for that reason alone.

I'm gonna be real, I honestly expect either Jon or Emile to get really unlucky with Shy Guy's Perplex Express and/or King Boo's Haunted Hideaway once they tackle 8. I really love the former and find the latter to be OK, but man is it easy for players to get royally screwed on those boards.
I hate King Boo's Haunted hideaway, mainly because one time no one got a single star in a 30-Turn game. Shy Guy's Perplex Express is one of my favourites, along with Bowser's Warped Orbit, which does the star-stealing gimmick the best out of all the games in the series in my opinion.
Think Tank's definitely more one-sided for the one player, their health bar is too large and doesn't accommodate for the fact that its too easy to just rapidly mash the A button, not to mention that I swear the controls feel too floaty. I know that there was a similar minigame in 5 called Mario Mechs that was more balanced and had everyone be given a fighting chance.
@@blazingwaters7469Yeah.When I played it, Think Tank ended pretty damn quickly with the one player dominating the team of three. And yeah, sorta wonky controls don't help, especially when the team of three are such easy pickings.Mario Mechs was a lot more balanced and one of the few MP5 minigames I thought was pretty solid.
@@shadowsamus3168 No, it was THAT episode of Dokapon Kingdom. Y'know, the one where Emile's menu mashing almost took a Déja vu, but I feel like I've heard this joke before.
That poor Lakitu trapped in an orb, waiting for the day to finally be freed Also, Pyramid Park is the only board with a unique Last 4 Turns event, so do double star through that
This is really fun when you guys think Flashfright is completely one-player sided when in fact, it's completely 3-players sided ! If one of the 3 players just cricle around in one of the two areas that connect two bridges, it's almost impossible for the one player to win (of course you must be carefull that the one player doesn't go the opposite direction but you can see it really easly) plus the fact that there's this case twice in the map, the solo player need a solid miracle to win
The Egg Orb is so much fun. I used Birdo in Pagoda Peak with so many of those. I got rid of all the Koopa Kid spaces with it and collected orbs of my own. Tim, you’re so lucky you chose Yoshi in MP7. Unfortunately there are no character candies in Mario Party 8 but my personal favourite item, the Bitsize Candy, is very similar to the Flower Orb Peach and Daisy have in 7, with the added bonus of turning all characters into 8-bit Sprites!
Wait, Yoshi ate the Koopa Kid space?? Wow, that’s… kind of revealing about how the devs programmed this? Are Bowser and the Koopa Kid considered players the only are controlled via cutscene, and thus technically their spaces are considered player spaces? Regardless, that’s interesting!
Sure he can ride Tim, but don’t let Reese find out. 3:00 Spoilers: it didn’t make a cut. A lot of minigames I like didn’t actually. 4:43 Game decided to finally throw Jon a bone there. 14:25 If Boo has stopped one earlier, then yeah, it’d have been Boo’s game. 15:53 Like the only one I’m certain he doesn’t have is happening, and that’s because of how many of those spaces Jon’s landed on. 18:15 Wasn’t Two Stars one of the reasons why Tim won the previous board? 19:30 You’re only commenting on that now? That’s one of the first things I noticed about Wario and Waluigi. 20:13 Back when Hammer Bros made the same noises as Koopa Troopas...I wonder why that changed... 25:43 Still, for Jon to begin to come back like that after being knocked down so many times by both the game and Emile’s luck, now tied for second after being in 3rd and last for so long...isn’t that kind of its own miracle? Tim might agree considering the same thing happened to him previously.
Indeed to the last one, if anyone remembers how hilarious it was Tim literally going from last to pulling a victory right out of his butt. I'm not complaining about who won or who didn't - I find upstart victories amazing as they are funny! I'd laugh if Jon does in the final part.
Okay this is actually getting tense as hell, Mario party could pull a mario party and screw emile, on top of the fact that a comeback could happen with good luck
I'm all for Chugga winning boards, but when it's becoming a super shut-out with "you've got to be fucking kidding me" levels of luck happening, it's becoming frustrating to watch.
ZarosianCabbage I'm inclined to agree however Emile does deserve to get this at least once. It's been a long time coming. That being said it is frustrating to watch someone be shut out no matter who it is.
Emile's luck has returned, and Jon's has run out, or has it? Can Emile get another clean sweep? Will Jon or Tim somehow pull behind and win? Or the AI? I dunno, but the last part will be interesting to see nonetheless...
8:02 (I've won on Ballonatic before both with friends and with Brutal CPU's (as the one player. It's not impossible, you just got to be really good at the game.... and have incredible luck)
I can barely wait until 8! (Rhyming!) I really think monopoly party will be funny to watch them play. Koopa's boardwalk. Not to mention Bowser's space station, aka "Be as dickish to your friends as much as possible because the only way to get stars is to steal them from others, so be as evil as possible like you are playing mario kart AND mario party combined." Either way that will be something to see!
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the baseball cannon reminds me of a sort of 3D pixel look, like those dlc guns in Mario + Rabbids, or that one dungeon from Persona 4.
That feel when you take *all 95 of somebody's coins* in a duel but the circumstances mean your reaction can't be anything better than just. "meh." Especially when Bowser Jr. just gives them back the very next turn.
Tim's gonna have fun with that Egg Orb. It allows Yoshi or Birdo to get rid of Koopa Kid spaces and turn trap and land-on spaces, including ones they set, into Orbs they can use later on, as well as of course removing Koopa Kid spaces from the board!
@@uberlord983 that’s actually not true. I’ve seen the Yoshi AI use it before to get rid of a trap I placed in front of it. Granted, at the time I was playing the PAL version so it’s possible they fixed Yoshi’s AI before it released in Europe.
Okay, this is seriously just turning into, pardon the pun, a runaway game. I keep hoping Emile will lose just to add some tension, but every time he crushes it, and he is currently four stars ahead and got star chests all but I think twice, one coin and one bomb. And now he's got an unbreakable lead. I get that it's just a game, but that doesn't mean it's tremendous fun to watch one guy crush it with no effort. I didn't mind with Jon in MP4, because even though he had an overwhelming board lead, he worked for every one of those boards. Emile, Tim and Compy all stayed competitive. In this specific board...not so much. Emile has had a commanding lead the entire game, without even making use of his triple mushroom power. It's kind of dull, really. Then again, I said the same thing last board and then suddenly Tim gets four stars in one turn and then gets two of the bonus stars and steals the win. Here's hoping for an exciting conclusion, I guess.
Which is no longer on this board, the only thing that could stop this is him being continuously dueled, loses and forfeits stars until he's left with 0 stars [sweeping bonus stars would only give him 3] and if Jon has more coins, he would take it. At this point, he has 7 stars and he says he landed on a lot of red spaces, has thrown the most Orbs and with his triple mushrooms, probably has the Movement star, that would give him 10 [if those are the three given.] Unless he loses his stars, this is a stalemate for the others.
Waluigi: *wins a single mini-game*
Bowser: *click* that's going in my pain collection. Ten coins please.

Hope you don't get spoiled. :P
I looked it up and, being a metal, gold is a good conductor of electricity.

Toad: Look I’m Woody.. Howdy howdy howdy.
Let me just say one thing...
*I really want to see a boxing match between Dapper Changeling and New3DSLUIGI364.*
Lets hope its not pay-per-view, like a certain other boxing match. Good grief, that was a waste of everyone's time & money.
Nee3DSLUIGI364 is cancer
Welcome back to Emile wins and Jon yells about Emile winning.
It's been what, three years since an episode of that has aired...?
@@shadowsamus3168 No, it was THAT episode of Dokapon Kingdom. Y'know, the one where Emile's menu mashing almost took a Déja vu, but I feel like I've heard this joke before.
Normally it's Jon wins and the Commenters yell about Jon winning
CHUGGA WINS
how... how is boo flattening koopa kid. he's clearly floating above him XD
Simple: Boo is just really fat.
That description. "Yes lets ride Tim."
13:14 No it's more like Balloon of Doom Jon.
That poor Lakitu trapped in an orb, waiting for the day to finally be freed
Also, Pyramid Park is the only board with a unique Last 4 Turns event, so do double star through that
Emile Rosales is the luckiest man alive.
Then again, every ROSE always has their "thorns."
More of Emile’s incredible luck.
Jon's incredible bad luck and Emile's incredible good luck really runs rampant on this board.
You know what it is?
Lady Luck got jealous when Chugga was playing as Daisy.
I like how boo crushes koopa kid even though you can clearly see him floating above him
Man, it feels good to be able to root for Jon again
Dateline: This was recorded November 9th 2017. Proof, Mario Party 100 came out the 10th
Yes, they even said it. Even more proof, it was the day after Jon's birthday (November 8th)
@@shadowsamus3168 You don't know how far out they film certain series that's why I put the year
goldosprey This one was also easier to date because earlier in the series they mentioned Jon's engagement, that would put it beyond September 2017
Koopa Kid seized the means of productJon and overthrew the bourJonsie
This is really fun when you guys think Flashfright is completely one-player sided when in fact, it's completely 3-players sided ! If one of the 3 players just cricle around in one of the two areas that connect two bridges, it's almost impossible for the one player to win (of course you must be carefull that the one player doesn't go the opposite direction but you can see it really easly) plus the fact that there's this case twice in the map, the solo player need a solid miracle to win
sigomare From the perspective of their skill level, it may as well be.
Awesome video guys I love this board so much and keep up the awesome work
The Egg Orb is so much fun.
Tim always picks yoshi in every Mario party
4:36 Yes you did, Emile.
6:54 Emile's insane luck, that's what's happening!
There's something so cathartic seeing Jon losing a board.
It's because he's won most boards overall. So seeing him lose becomes a treat in its own way in that sense for some.
It would be even more satisfying to see Tim winning some boards.
When it comes to gamecube boards, Tim HAS won more than Emile (also I find it funny how Tim won on both star stealing boards)
Shadow Samus
It would be interesting if this trend repeated up to Mario Party 8 with Bowser's Warped Orbit.
Emile’s luck is back for another game!
Does anybody else find it very fitting that Jon was riding the horse that Tim had his face in? Just don’t drop him off a cliff Jon that’s all we ask
So this was recorded 10 months ago.... Gaddamn!
"Go ahead, take my money, you can have all the money you want! I'll even take you out for dinner!"
One of the few lines Tim said that made me chuckle
"If you want to stop blowing, just say "stop"." Oh my. XD
What a gentleman, that Tim. Willing to buy Emile's dinner
"AM I THE FUCKING BALOONATIC AGAIN?!?" Greatest quote in the history of TRG
Okay this is actually getting tense as hell, Mario party could pull a mario party and screw emile, on top of the fact that a comeback could happen with good luck
To think that Jon accidentally gave Chugga a advantage.
Is Jon about to mount the ultimate comeback, or is it just a late game rally like Emile on Grand Canal where he came up short?
This is the designated chuggaa board
I like how shocked jon sounded after tile and error
I mean, you saw what Mario did to him right...?
@@shadowsamus3168 absolutely
15:01 Boo and Tim are horses LOL!
I'm all for Chugga winning boards, but when it's becoming a super shut-out with "you've got to be fucking kidding me" levels of luck happening, it's becoming frustrating to watch.
ZarosianCabbage
I'm inclined to agree however Emile does deserve to get this at least once. It's been a long time coming. That being said it is frustrating to watch someone be shut out no matter who it is.
I find it hilarious when one person has either the best or the worst luck. In this case, we get both!
"This balloon can blow up really big."
*BOOM*
"Well, that works."
You really didn’t learn to watch what you say did you Emile in the description...
whenever TRG does mario party, i eagerly await the daily upload
Emile's luck has returned, and Jon's has run out, or has it? Can Emile get another clean sweep? Will Jon or Tim somehow pull behind and win? Or the AI? I dunno, but the last part will be interesting to see nonetheless...
Jon never had good luck, he can just adjust better to his own terrible luck as long as someone else's good luck doesn't interfere
Glash freight is not weighted towards the 1, you just need to keep running around the bridge
Please Tim, you got this I believe in you.
He probably doesn't have this.
@@lucasmartinez5703 I can dream aight?
Didn't say you couldn't. Just important to stay realistic.
@@lucasmartinez5703 watch a duel have a star swap
Are there even star swaps for duels in this game?
8:02 (I've won on Ballonatic before both with friends and with Brutal CPU's (as the one player. It's not impossible, you just got to be really good at the game.... and have incredible luck)
This board has everyone’s favorite city, Baseball
"I'm really bad at this."
*wins*
I can never look at Toad the same ever again.
First time seeing the egg orb in action
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the baseball cannon reminds me of a sort of 3D pixel look, like those dlc guns in Mario + Rabbids, or that one dungeon from Persona 4.
That feel when you take *all 95 of somebody's coins* in a duel but the circumstances mean your reaction can't be anything better than just. "meh."
Especially when Bowser Jr. just gives them back the very next turn.
koopa kid
@@Mariokemon I prefer to know him as "Koopa C***."
Tim's gonna have fun with that Egg Orb. It allows Yoshi or Birdo to get rid of Koopa Kid spaces and turn trap and land-on spaces, including ones they set, into Orbs they can use later on, as well as of course removing Koopa Kid spaces from the board!
But they won't use Birdo as an AI... I can guarantee that
@@shadowsamus3168 Besides, an AI Yoshi/Birdo never use the Egg Orb. Trust me, I know.
Daisy was like a sponge that soaked up all of Chugga's lucky and gave it to Jon.
Well happy birthday, Jon
we need a duel at this rate or maybe bowser possibly both cant wait to see how john gets reamed next time
Happy Birthday Proton Jon
Emile sure is the Star of this board, or is it because of his star character?
You know whats needed right now? CHANCE TIME!
I have a feeling Chugga has it locked down especially since Chugga has an auto victory now and his luck shows no signs of stopping
7:10 that’s priceless
