Welcome to summoner builds where clunky socket starved builds that do good dps at the start but when min maxing the dps per cost ratio is higher than an armorstacker for like 1 20th the damage
I think aurabot minion hybrid builds work a lot better when you're grabbing a bunch of notables from a glorious vanity - the aoe helps a ton with keeping them alive and helping them clear out away from you where you don't want to be. Hard to make work on a guardian but scion works pretty well :D
yep, hijacking this for lance same with harvest AOE enchant for the wand. 28% qual from hillock is enough. there is also an AOE crucible node if you don't want to go for damage nodes.
Any build recommendation? I want to start some kind of pseudo aurabot/summoner to support my friend, but still be able to clear at least maps by myself when he's off
Thanks for the inspiration. I had some plans for a build similar to this, but actually seeing it play out made me return to the league to test it. It's basically the same Character with Dominating Blow instead of Animate Weapon. I happened to randomly find out that Generals Cry linked to Dominating Blow can actually summon Sentinels when the mirages kill monsters / hit unique mobs. So my plan is to walk around with Corpsewalkers and Redblade Banner in order to spam as many Dom Blows as I can (5 warriors at a time) to gather a huge army without having to get anywhere near the danger zone myself. I wanna go for Divergent Generals Cry to make the mirages walk faster, I'm kinda worried that I resummon them before they can attack.
Update 1: Turns out I'm terrible at levelling and it took me far too long. Just entered Act 10 and will get to maps this evening. First impressions are promissing, the character is just 1.5 div of investment for now (where 1 div went into the Balbala Jewel). Summoning Sentinels works well, but I've noticed they can't phase through each other and seem to stand around a lot, doing nothing when they can't get to a mob. Bosses should be fine since you can spawn sentinels on hit against bosses. I'm worried about juicy rares though. During the campaign there were some that gave me trouble. Sadly you cant generate new sentinels against rares and there is no alt qual that could help in this instance. Probably not the best build for Beast-/Essencefarming. That said, Damage is ramping (I have Presicion, Hatred and Haste linked to Generosity) and there are not many mobs that survive for long when there are a few sentinels around. For support I currently have 2 Host and a Carnage Chieftain.
I loved AW a few leagues ago, it was my starting build for 2-3 leagues (when power/frenzy charges were working differently for minions), the plan was simple, go to act 9, do endless heist, buy doryani prototype and that's almost all, with 4L AW it was possible to cruise through 15-16t maps slowly but steadily, big bosses with instant arena are shit though
I guess the whole aurabot half of the build makes ivory tower make the most sense, but I gotta say I definitely wouldve considered chains of command the better option for a low cost build no? Its pretty easy to play too and ramp time is a lot quicker.
How big a hit will losing the crucible 1.5% crit be? Still viable for next league? I know animate weapon sucks on the feels good department but I still want to give vaal aw a shot =]
For fun I checked and you would deal similar damage with 3 SRS + Phantasm (diamond shrine/massive shrine), there would be good to have that minions summoned recently do not die and that is all. Btw setup would be Srs + predator + minion damage + summon phantasm + inc crit damage + ele damage (or maybe something other as last).
that sounds interesting, im not too familiar with various minions so was just experimenting with animate weapon. I guess that does sound like better QoL
Why not pob the resulting build. U get to explore by feel the way u love it but then get concrete data on how u did at the end and us viewers get a more appropriate representation of the build as well if we are grimro number loving type of player
Agreed, as someone who has a friend that plays at least 1 summoner per league I always have to make him leave my hideout if he ends up afking in there with pale seraphims. Though the new ice guys from crucible certainly seem even worse.
Are you selling this build? I offer 9.9 Divs.
I haven't been trying to sell any builds, just put em together for 10d then take gear off if I need to respec a character.
Who is this clean cut man, and why is he taking over from my favourite shaggy roman senator?
New haircut looks cute DaddyLance9
an real gamer playing an real game, i like it.
"Day 2 CoC Flicker Discharge 2/7 PoB:"
Lance, you're an absolute psycho. I love you.

Also, the new mortar spectres are worse for sound they constantly lay and trigger icicle traps

If you think that specter is loud, I recommend you never use the guy that hit his own shield, that fucker sure is loud
Oh I have no doubt there was worst spectres, definitely some perspective of what its like to play with certain minions.

@@CaptainLance9 I don't understand why they don't give us a option to change summon's sound or just mute them
Animate weapon is fun until they die. Then it feels terrible
the reentry was very painful indeed. went from stomping fights to chain dying.

I also never played a second AW character

did you try Blessed Rebirth Cluster jewel Notable ? "Minions created recently cannot be damaged" pairs well with Call to slaughter
I got baited I read the title as “10 div animated guardian”
Like I always say, Boss Time, Boss Damage!™️
Is it not good if the triap grip converts chaos damage?

Takes maybe 5 mins of ur time to throw together the pob for most builds
Chains of comand version pls)
Im using 30% of skill cost as life works good
Challenge for Lance:
Make a 10D build that can kill Uber Exarch (IMPOSSIBLE)
exarch probably is my worst fight, I am really bad at sirus but exarch might just be my worst
The noise of the pale seraphim is so gross.
i agree, was making me think I was crazy till I realized what was making the noise.

for the re summoning, to get extra mana, you can turn off an aura like Precision to summon the blade faster. And please turn off minion life bar
Second + the traitor + L because no tri attribute stack
