The Bengals seem to have a lot of injury misfortunes. A pattern of lots of early season muscle and tenant strains. Poor conditioning lack of hydration? Speaks directly to having our two starting D-Tackles watching the game. Do we even have a conditioning coach? We had drill instructors at Parris Island. Who told us when we were trusting. Loudly. I wasn’t excited about Geno Stone. He is slow and a terrible run defender. We knew that before we signed him. He ran a 4.62 forty yard dash. 4.62. I would rather have Tycen Anderson playing free safety. We moved up in the draft and gave up picks In order to draft Anderson. For what? To play special teams? Stone is 5’10’’ 207 and runs 4.62. Tycen Anderson is 6’2’’ 210 and runs 4.36. Plus Anderson has 33 inch arms and over 10 inch hands. He is the biggest and fastest defensive back on the team. He is a superior athlete. Geno Stone is not a superior athlete. Neither is Vonn Bell. In fact I don’t understand why Bell is not backing up Jordan Battle. Jordan Battle was THE BEST rookie safety in the NFL last year. He graded out at 82.1. That is fantastic. He was the 5th highest graded safety in the NFL last year. Not 5th highest graded rookie safety not 5th highest graded strong safety he was the 5th highest graded safety period. Battle made the All Rookie team on the strength of 8 or 9 starts. In 8 or 9 starts the dude had 75 tackles 2 interceptions and 2 sacks. In half a year. Yet they have this guy sitting on the god damned bench. Lou Anaroumo needs to be fired. Period. And while Dax Hill can play outside CB why do they keep changing this guys position? He played NICKEL CB AT MICHIGAN 95% OF THE TIME!! DJ Turner played outside CB 100% of the time. After Mike Hilton is gone Dax needs to be the nickel where he was elite in college. Turner needs to play outside. Even if we make the playoffs this year things have to change. Changes need to be made.

Apparently Lou Anaroumo must not have been awake during the games last year because if he was he would have seen that Jordan Battle was the best safety on the field and was one of the best safety’s in the NFL. If he had played an entire year instead of just 1/2 a year he probably would have been Pro Bowl and/or All Pro as well. He made the All Rookie team on the strength of 8 games. In 8 games he had 71 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions and 5 pass deflections. That was in 7 or 8 games. PFF said he was the highest graded rookie safety that they had graded in 10 years. He was the 5th highest graded safety in the NFL. Not the 5th highest graded strong safety not the 5th highest graded rookie safety but the 5th highest graded SAFETY period. He was the highest graded rookie safety that PFF has graded in the last decade. It is fucking ludicrous that he is not a starter! And Battle is a commodity that is the last of his kind. What do I mean? He is an Alabama Defensive back trained by Nick Saben. There won’t be anymore of these guys. Ever.
The Bengals need to make a trade with the Commanders for DT Johnathan Allen or Daron Payne. They drafted Jerzon Newton so they were planning on moving off of one of those guys. Probably Allen because he is 29 and Payne is 27. They will probably have to give up a 3rd or even a 2nd round pick for him. They need to do that. Allen is a good run defender and pass rusher. He is a 2 time pro Bowl player. I know the Bengals don’t usually operate that way but you gotta change. When people stop buying tickets and stop tuning into the games and stop buying jerseys they will change. You can’t keep doing the same things year after year after year and expecting different results.

Changes need to be made even if we make the playoffs this year. Zack Taylor can’t play good football in September. Why? In my humble opinion his training camps are too soft too light not tough enough and the players simply are not ready to play. Kansas City’s training camps are legendarily HARD! That’s one of the reasons they win the god damned Super Bowl practicly every god damned year. He does not have the guys ready to play because he fears injuries so much. If you are afraid of injuries all the time you cannot be a good football coach. You just can’t be scared of players getting injured. Training camp needs to be borderline BRUTAL!! The guys will thank you when they are 4-0. Taylor needs to tell his players that anytime they say ANYTHING negative about the team they are about to play or have to play or a player on that team they will be benched for 1 game and fined $25,000 for a 1st offense. 2nd offense you are benched 3 games and fined $50,000. 3rd offense you are suspended the rest of the year and traded. Period he needs to play the law down so everyone understands what they say has consequences. They CANNOT keep going opposing teams bulletin board material every god damned week. Yes Cedric Johnson should get more snaps but honestly so should Ossai. Ossai is a good player. He is even more of a freak athlete than Cedric Johnson or Trey Hendrickson. I think Sam Hubbard should get less snaps. On 3rd down Sam Hubbard should not be on the field ever. And I think Jordan Battle should be starting and Bell backing him up. I have thought that from day 1. And I believe Geno Stone was not a good signing. I believe last year was an outlier and we will never see numbers like that again. He is slow too. Too slow to be playing Free safety. I think Tyven Anderson should be played there sooner or later.
It’s the owner , Zac, Lou and personnel the owner don’t want to spend no money they don’t know how to scout talent the want everything for cheap we never sign any good free agents or draft good everybody already know how good burrow and chase and Higgins was already so I can’t said we draft good it’s always us resigning some very mediocre players from off our on team who having been doing nothing for us or it’s never some players that can help out the defense , Lou is a trash dc he don’t have rotation in his defense he don’t make adjustments never blitz he is very predictable on defense it’s time for him to go we need a new dc with a different plan on defense the defense is not physical at all ok Lou again he run a 4-2-5 it jus be a lot zone coverage no press coverage that why we give up so many big plays and the personnel is not good to play that kind of defensive system the pass rushers is so lack luster we don’t be getting sacks or pressure that because we don’t have a feared front four or sub players at all that can dominate in pass rush or plugging the run gaps next it’s the lbs just some subpar lbs not great tackler don’t fill the run gaps well at all can’t locate the tailback cause in a 4-2-5 you need 2 good lbs that can tackle and have good run stopping awareness and play a lil pass coverage now on to these defensive backs can’t press up and go man to man we don’t have not one cornerback who can’t shut off half the field they don’t get no hand on receiver at the line of scrimmage always 5 to 7 yards off and still be getting beat because their awareness is bad can’t locate the football give up big plays and get penalties the safeties not playing good neither it’s no communication out there cause we don’t have leadership or seasoned vet on defense which it’s hurting us now on to Zac Taylor he is very predictable on offense most of the times and we can’t run the ball right side of the O-line still can’t protect Joe this offense is to good for that I just feel it’s time for a new plan as HC AND DC and some quality personnel I’m not bash anyone or hating congratulations to y’all that apart of the organization but I’m Louisana native that a been a bengals fan since Cory Dillon days I’m just off tired off it it got to be fixed
